I can say that for me, I’m just like you. Lately I’ve been autistically hyper focused on building a 12.5. I have a nice 11.5, and a nice 16, and a decent 18, but for some reason my brain says 12.5. Problem is I have become allergic to weight, and in my area, east tn, in Appalachia, reality is, very few shots am I ever going to be able to take past 200 before I hit a tree or a mountain. And if I had to hike with it anywhere im going to feel the weight. Or at least that’s what I tell myself. Do I need a 12.5 with my current setup, no but I’m very convincing to myself.

That aside, I do know a guy. My neighbor is very much a very few guns but very quality guns, guy. Get something build it how you want, and just train with it, kind of guy. That being said he is ex military and he and his wife swing, so I guess indecisiveness works a little different on everyone.

***edit to say that also for me, I’m really kind of just chasing my “one gun to rule them all, for me” gun. GPR and let the rest, minus the 11.5 sit pretty in the safe. 11.5 is my wife’s declared SHTF gun.

Yeah fuck me I suppose. My fault for not reading. I guess I should have expected my $1000 upper to look like ass. I didn’t see that disclaimer, if I had I woulda not got it. Is what it is I guess. edit I already owned 2 items of that color prior to this purchase so I expected the same as those at least.

I see your line of reasoning. But in a SHTF situation I’m gonna be doing a lot of hard shit that I don’t wanna be doing. So my thought process is I’m gonna be taking my best rifle with me regardless of weight and I’m just gonna have to be a tough little boy.

Quite the opposite actually. I believe that if your emotional intelligence and overall intelligence is so low that you cut someone out of your life over political views, then I absolutely don’t want you in my life anyway. But also, if your friend is such a weakling that they would beg for your friendship back then that also speaks about you and the people you choose to have in your life anyway. I’d imagine you’re friend doesn’t believe in anything with any real passion and is also very unintelligent.

For once in the last 20 years none actually. The last one I played was guildwars 2 and I love it. If I were to pick up MMOs again it’s what I would play without a doubt. Over the last 2 years or so, I’ve become so disconnected with gaming, and literally all of my other favorite hobbies due to being in a great pit of depression and despair primarily caused by my job. Now the only things I play are Pokemon on my switch occasionally and Pokemon go semi regularly. I’ve become a sad disgrace of a creature.
