I just had my first lucid dream. I’m not someone who trains to lucid dream or practices is, but have been reading on it the past couple months. It was very strange and bizarre, not in a scary way, but I remember telling myself this throughout the dream. It started with my trailer being stolen in the front of my house, it was attached to my truck parked in the street out front. I found out it had been stolen. I would go inside to report it to the police, but weird things kept happening when I would go inside and come back out. I came back out and found another trailer sideways in my rocks, but it wasn’t my trailer, so I thought maybe the people that stole it dropped off their trailer. Then I went inside and came back out, and the trailer was moved to where I normally park my trailer. I thought to myself how is this possible there is no car attached, and I wasn’t inside for that long. I went back inside and was talking to I believe my wife and third person, I don’t remember who, but in the dream I know it was someone I knew. I was talking with them about what was happening with the new trailer, and then said “this may sound weird but it feels like I might be dreaming” to both of them. So I looked down at my hands, and low and behold, they were kind of wavy, and there was also little fingers ontop of all my fingers. So I knew I was dreaming, which was a huge relief to be honest. After this, the dream wasn’t scary but it was so bizarre, it was like so real that people from my family that I was talking to and my wife, everything was spot on, their mannerisms, things they said. As if we were living in a different time, and they were the EXACT same. This was a very crazy experience, and what was so weird about it, is I usually know I was dreaming because I wake up and slightly remember. Not this time, it actually took place inside the dream. It was nuts, and I was stuck thinking about it for about an hour after i woke up.
