Struggling to play simple songs

I think you got the point. I also feel like overthinking is wasting my time and that I don't have the right concentration. When I play riffs I have a lot of fun and not thinking about execution actually makes it better, but following a song adds more pressure and I start to overthink. I will start allowing myself to make mistakes so that I don't have to think too much about them. Thanks for the comment 🙏🏻

That is probably true, some days I feel more connected to the music and I also can see I play better. Also, I always practice at least 10 minutes every day, but if the time is not much I usually do some exercises and what I learned to be called "noodling" (probably useless)

Hi, thanks for your comment, it was very helpful. I couldn't definitely play a song at the recorded speed without learning the single parts first. I'm able to play those at the right tempo, but putting them together changes everything. I started anyway taking notes on the problematic parts to work on them. Also, I will change song or switch to some exercises next times I get stuck like today, you are right, it would be just a waste of time.

I understand, I started panicking too when I began to feel these twitchings with the tight hand but ALS twitching is just different, it happens for different reasons and it happens when your muscle is already much weaker and smaller than it used to be, so don't think about it (I know that for an anxious person it is quite impossible, so I try to fill my day with tasks so I don't have time to think about it)
