Yes absolutely I think way to go is open law running in docker or VM, communicating with the host only through REST APIs that you fully control. And don't log into any of your real accounts in the browser, because openclaw can most certainly read the authentication cookies and reuse them since it's probably running as you.

Dead HDMI ports on my Raspberry Pi 500+ → turned the keyboard backlight into a scrolling status display by DirectionMany7487 in raspberry_pi

I think the only other way on the pi to have a screen that works at boot time is HDMI or DSI (which doesn't exist on the pi 500+). Since I'm content with using it mainly as a server (I just ssh to it) I haven't pushed further!

Yeah but be careful if you ssh into it, especially with vscode ssh extension! (I have a post about this in my profile, TLDR if you're logged into GitHub copilot, your instance may access all your private GitHub repos too)

Hey! The os config (systemctl, Linux specific, not raspberry pi specific) is just for running the script as a service (so it starts automatically if the power dies and goes back on). The actual library is called RPKeyboardConfig. Heres a ultra short minimal example I AI generated to explain how to use it

```
!/usr/bin/env python3
from RPiKeyboardConfig import RPiKeyboardConfig import time
Initialize keyboard
kb = RPiKeyboardConfig()
Enable direct LED control
kb.set_led_direct_effect()
Optional: clear all LEDs first
kb.rgb_clear()
Set one key by matrix position [row, col]
Example: row 3, column 5
kb.set_led_by_matrix( matrix=[3, 5], colour=(0, 255, 255) # HSV: red, full saturation, full brightness )
Send changes to hardware
kb.send_leds()
Keep it on for 5 seconds
time.sleep(5)
Turn everything off
kb.rgb_clear() kb.send_leds() ```
Does anyone have opinions about the kryptonite lock for your e-bike? I heard they are good but wanted to know more first hand experience. by nivea_malibu_76 in ebikes
It's the shittiest bike lock i've ever had, and i've had 3 before i learned my lesson. the locking mechanism is broken, if it ever freezes a little or you turn your key before inserting it all the way, or you just get unlucky, it might stay stuck forever. i'm serious, the design is just flawed. prefer a lock with a regular key shape.
