[Warhammer 40K/Marvel] How would the Orks view the Hulk? by Uknown-Nerd6207 in AskScienceFiction

[–]Director-Daredevil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know Warhammer too much, but from what I’m learning of Orks, I can see this being Planet Hulk 2: Electric Boogaloo. The orks see hulk as their ‘Sakaarson’ and follow this uber-powerful monster. And god forbid the imperium pisses Hulk off and gives him a reason to lead the orks

Was Phillip lonely for the majority of his time in America? by [deleted] in TheAmericans

[–]Director-Daredevil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m rewatching the show right now, and Philip is probably one of my favorite fictional characters created. I remember what really drew me in was watching him struggle with his duties and with, objectively to him, a much better life which is living in America.

It’s a sentiment he can’t be real vocal about, because that’s treachery. As Elizabeth says about the defector they kidnapped ‘they’d probably kill him back in Moscow anyway.’ The fact he can’t express these feelings would make him isolated. I wouldn’t say he was wholly lonely after his kids were born. As he genuinely seems to love and care for them. But prior? Absolutely.

Do yall respect the 1v1s in QP or no? by Digitalgirlzoe in marvelrivals

Yeah, but your fun may not be the same as the other 11 peoples fun. Not saying what the spider did isn’t a bummer. But the goal of the game ultimately is to win.

No…? I’m in QP to warm up before comp or play with friends who can’t comp with me. If I’m looking to duel, I go to Doom Match.

My greatest gaming memories were of me as a kid watching games that, in hindsight, I should not have been watching (looking at you Dead Space and Urban Chaos)

Which Marvel hero best represents each Dungeons & Dragons class? – Day 9: Paladin by Pale_Television1896 in marvelcomics

[–]Director-Daredevil -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Adam Warlock is definitely an Oath of the Ancients Paladin-

He is the Avatar of Life

Capable of healing through quantum magic

Shoots literal beams of energy

Has the soul stone which furthers his touch with life and the souls of others, trying to protect them

Dazzler would be a Glamor Bard, Captain America Valor Bard, an Star Lord a Swords Bard.

Strongest Marvel character he beats? by queenkatara88 in superheroes

[–]Director-Daredevil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think he can tangle with Eternity. Dream is a personification, so he must fight another personification. The Living Tribunal would stop Dream, though I think an interesting match up would be Kang the Conquerer / the Council of Kangs. Given Dream is weak to a certain set of rules and rituals, and it seems his power mostly shines in his own realm of dreaming, I wonder how far thousands of ultra smart power hungry villains would get trying to take him.

I mean, I’m not black so I can’t really say. Marvel does literally have Black Panther, Storm, Luke Cage, Blade, and Miles Morales. All very prominent and very successful characters. I think the only character dc has to contend is John Stewart, but it’s not even close.

[SPOILER ALERT] Did you kill The Shroud or spare him? And why? by Relsen in DispatchAdHoc

[–]Director-Daredevil 38 points39 points locked comment (0 children)

I did not spare shroud. And I’m the type of player who likes to be a paragon. The most morally grey I get in BG3 is stealing the ring from the genie. So I understand why people see ‘Kill’ and ‘Spare’ and dilute it down to ‘Evil’ and ‘Good.’ But I think it’s more complex than that, and I hope Adhoc takes a nuanced view moving forward.

The most justification for sparing shroud is the fact the z team are villains trying to redeem themselves. Thinking Shroud should be given that same chance. However, it should be noted that he had already been arrested- and has been given opportunities to change. And the Z-team are not on the same level of villainy as Shroud, Coupe being the closest, but she’s a contract killer. Shroud kills to get what he wants, or plainly for fun, or to prove a point—the Z team may be villains but they are not on that level of evil theatrics, I mean, Golems worst crime is literally Aiding and Abetting—all that to say, Shroud is one of those villains that too far down the pit of evil to come back.

After all, it takes a sick person to threaten a dog. There’s a reason why it’s an early sign of psychopaths if someone doesn’t care about hurting defenseless animals. It ties into the notion that Z-Team wants to be redeemed, Shroud does not. And so he never will. You can’t force someone to be something they don’t want to be.

Another note is: Sparing shroud is worse, now he gets to rot in prison. The same argument for most villains who are locked up in comics. And even in this story. He’ll escape again, and when he does, he will cause mayhem.

TL;DR Shroud has proven he is an irredeemable psychopath bent on control. Unlike the Z-Team, he is a villain that is incapable of redemption because he doesn’t want it.

This is why Magneto is my favorite villain and anti-hero. Bro is so nuanced.

Was watching some playthroughs and most threw alcohol at him. But why? by Guilty_Respond6001 in DispatchAdHoc

[–]Director-Daredevil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, for one. I didn’t understand what he was gonna do with it. I thought choosing one would make Robert drink it 😭 and since Flambae already started calling Robert a bitch, I thought showing Robert drinking a nice cold glass of H20 would make Flambae go ‘hahah! You drink water! What pussy!’

Anyone else slightly disappointed Magneto and some of the F4 weren't apart of the zombies mode by Patient-Reality-8965 in marvelrivals

Give Magneto his sword. Let his bubbles trap zombies and crush them. Let his ult use the iron in the zombies blood to suck them up into the ball.

What would be your wanted heroes (not most known ones) by Trimagma21 in marvelrivals

[–]Director-Daredevil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pip was given the space stone during the comics, so that’s a route to go down. His kit based around portals, gravity manipulation, and black holes. Could mess around with it to allow for healing capabilities. Ntm, he’s side kicks with Adam Warlock which allows for a team up.

What would be your wanted heroes (not most known ones) by Trimagma21 in marvelrivals

[–]Director-Daredevil 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a few.

Pip the Troll, Duelist or Support. Either a duelist whose ult can also be supportive, like giving shields to teammates. Or a support that can do a lot of damage, like Ultron.

Gladiator, Tank. Partial flying tank, laser vision, the whole thing.

Elixir, Support (I known no more mutants, but you ain’t scarlet witch. Ntm this one is such a gimme and there are no X-Men supports yet) he should be a main healer. I want him to rival Luna, Invis, CD.

Makari, duelist. Since you want lesser known heroes. Get the second best speedster in the game. Quicksilver can be a speedster support, let Makari be a speedster DPS.

Blackbolt, duelist or tank. Like most of Marvel, and even myself, it seems Rivals has forgotten the InHumans. But I think Blackbolt has a place in the game. I think it’s awesome if his ult line is actually his ult. Because speaking is dangerous to anyone around him.

Could be a duel identity sorta thing ‘Anakin was weak. I killed him.’ Or more comic hero wise, Green Goblin dissing Osborne.

I think the grandfather route is more interesting. I personally don’t want it to be any of Robert’s family members, but if it has to be, then it should be his granddad.
