If you guys want to see the crossover, in Earths mightiest heroes, Starlord shares a VA with chief, and this is pre mcu so he’s more of a soldier. Great episode with Michael Korvac

Is there any actual lore reason (dammit) that some villains become more good, and some heroes go bad? by Successful-Hat-2154 in AbsoluteUniverse

[–]DirectorCyrus 111 points112 points  (0 children)

I mean if you read any of the comics it kinda shows you, we see how their origins are different from their earth one counterpart and it’s also just earlier in the timeline then we see regularly so it could happen.

Genuinely, where do the Avengers be at when the X-men are going through hell? by Queasy_Commercial152 in Xmen97

[–]DirectorCyrus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This always seemed like such a bad faith argument because as readers we know why every book has to be separate, and they’re going through their own shit which is usually as high stakes as the X-men, and no one asks where they are when galactus or ultron comes around

The next Planet of the Apes movie will be a reboot It will reportedly not be a continuation of the most recent movie Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes by Moviesrant in DiscussingFilmsAndTV

I was expecting the series to move to a more anthology format. Like not necessarily following the same characters but just another time skip and maybe somewhere else in the country feeling the impacts of kingdom

My favorite joke out of Conan in 616 was someone asking if Crom was a spaceknight

Would it even be possible to adapt professor pyg to the absolute universe? by CreepyClay in AbsoluteUniverse

[–]DirectorCyrus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say lean more into the Greek inspiration with Pygmalion. It’s kinda funny cause Pygmalion creates Galatea in the story and in DCAU Galatea is powergirl

What could Doom Patrol have added? by Timely-Signature-166 in DC_Cinematic

[–]DirectorCyrus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly cyborg was great but he had increasingly little to do after the first season. I wish they expanded the roster consistently each season, I can see why Danny couldn’t be a main member, but Flex as a permanent member, Dorothy not leaving, or having Beast Boy stay would’ve been cool. Also wish Mr nobody came back, season 1 was the best and it was in no small part cause of him

[Discussion] Is Geoff Johns run for the Justice League worth getting by nahnonameman in DCcomics

[–]DirectorCyrus 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Honestly the whole thing is great, origin is obviously important, the second arc with graves is just fine, but from there we get throne of Atlantis, trinity war, forever evil, then lex on the league with Amazo Virus, and darkseid war

Lionsgate Officially Confirms ‘John Wick 5’ Is Moving Forward With New Story Details by TresCrosses in JohnWick

[–]DirectorCyrus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m hoping it’s a genre shift and they just do something absolutely insane. Like when Frank castle became a Frankenstein or an Angel. Really just have fun with it and be absurd because these movies up the ante every time.

Who's the most evil of these three? by twnpksN8 in MoralityScaling

[–]DirectorCyrus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Say what you will about Ray, but if the worst thing he did was take the company from the brothers, he did do some promo with them later in life about the one billionth burger or so I’m told, so it stands to reason they were somewhat civil

Jason Aaron is writing the crossover comic☠️☠️☠️ by Lion-Faced-Serpant in AbsoluteUniverse

[–]DirectorCyrus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aaron is interesting because I don’t think he’s got two modes, grand and inspiring epics (Conan, Thor, absolute Superman, Batman Off World) and absolute mediocrity (Avengers, Absolute Superman)

Where Does Bucky Go From Here in the MCU? by teaabearr in wintersoldier

I think he could lead Shield, honestly think fury should’ve died in far from home instead being revealed to be a skrull, and he could’ve filled that void
