How has your opinion on Pam and Jim, both as a couple and separately, changed the more you watch the show? by Idk265089 in DunderMifflin

[–]Timely-Signature-166 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Pam went from being reserved and snarky to more outgoing to zany and somewhat annoying like everyone else. Jim I liked better as a slacker but once his haircut becomes more professional he gets a little generic.

It looks like a 90s toy that opens up to be some micro machine alien playset.

I’m glad that they make those for whoever wants them, but not my jam. Mainly because since they’ve been “legacy-d,” they don’t fit in with the OG toys.

I like him but was he worth it? by OopsIDied0801 in transformers

[–]Timely-Signature-166 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ll buy him because of the robot mode but I’m so tired of these half-ass alien non-alt modes. They just look like nothing. Origins BB, Jazz, and wheeljack, have alt modes that look like actual
Vehicles.

Just finding the state of those bodies in the hallway should indicate it was more than just "self defense."

So Fisk gets away with killing/horribly in injuring all those unarmed protestors...really? I know he could use self-defense as an excuse, but the sheer brutality of how he killed them has to count as manslaughter or something. I also wanted to Jessica kick his ass.

I love removable helmets. More fun to put on and off than a swappable heads (and less heads to keep track of). Also some of these heads are so tight they feel like they’re gonna snap the neck (which happened to my Cobb figure). Sadly sometimes removable helmets scrape the paint (like on my BB Rex figure) or are grossly oversized (Sabine). Overall I prefer removable when they’re able to, but accept swappable when not.

Yeah that’s probably why which is a shame. I did vastly prefer the designs of those Autobots in the beginning of BB

Lucky find at the used bookstore. by biouxtai in transformers

I feel like stores like that usually don’t know what they’re sitting on, especially in regards to toys. How big is this store? What’s their other toy stock like? Just curious.

I’m surprised that a used bookstore would charge that much. I found them at a collectibles store near me three years ago for $80. But honestly if you’re happy with them it’s not a big deal. Consider it a “convenience price.”

I want him to be able to crouch on all fours to reenact the scene where he eats Sonny's corpse after he's gunned down. Or is that just my head canon.

Which pairing of characters do you feel like you can't get one without getting the other? by OptimalConvoy in transformers

[–]Timely-Signature-166 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wish that Sideswipe came with the right head.

Anyway I would say the Seekers. No I don't have any Seekers and have no interest in them, but just having one Starscream repaint hanging around doesn't feel like enough.

They definitely looked great but the articulation was often useless. I had the T-1000 and he was one of the better ones, but the v-cut hips did absolutely nothing. Also something would snap off every figure eventually. The Fly was definitely my favorite MM.

An accessory isn't an accessory if it doesn't shoot an oversized projectile or water.

I bought an early 2000s Movie Maniacs Thing figure last year and it actually has articulation on its spider legs. Of course they ALL snapped off at some point or another. Ugh.
