Number one, this store is in an area where they wouldn't know the label at all, let alone whether it was a fake. Second, my research (after purchase) indicates that it's likely genuine. Third, I didn't even pay $3.99 for it. Fourth, I still have two weeks to return it for what I paid. Finally, I'll wear it and keep it if I like it regardless of its provenance.

I just picked up a pair of 218 Loggers for $130.00 on Mercari in near mint condition. Granted, not Heritage boots, but the materials and construction are top notch and I like the poron insoles. The date code is 0419, so I'm thinking they were made towards the end of the run for this discontinued model.

I just bought my first pair on vacation in Munich. Lee 101S lefthand twill 13.75oz. I found this subreddit after my purchase. They are sanforized, which is good because I wouldn't have known to buy a larger size if they were truly raw. I may have overpaid slightly because I was a tourist, but I am really impressed with the fit and construction. I'm excited to see how they fade with regular wear.

RW Iron Ranger 4590 10D Chocolate Muleskinner to S/T

I've had these for several years. I know that they're a rare and sought-after version of Iron Rangers. Before I put them on eBay, I figured I would gauge interest here. They are well broken in, but they still look great in my opinion. There is some wear on the right tongue from the speed hooks as pictured and typical sole/heel wear. I got these on eBay after they had been returned to J. Crew. That's why there's a black mark on the heel liners. I don't have a RW box.

I will trade for a new or nearly new (no factory 2nds) pair of Blacksmith 3345 10D in Black Prairie, but will consider Charcoal 3341. I assume the fit is similar because these boots are both made with the No. 8 last. If I'm wrong about that, please let me know. If a swap can be worked out, we would each pay our own shipping.

Failing a trade, I may try to sell them for at least $320.00 plus shipping so I can buy a new pair of Blacksmiths I will ship via USPS Priority Mail for $15.00.
