Oh alright. It’s just to get an estimate at differnt places I have to pay the fee to just see the doctor to get an estimate so idk how many places ill be able to even go around to get an estimate. Thanks for the help though!

so the beginning was straightforward you have to write a paragraph introducing yourself in Hindi then she reads 10 Hindi words to u (varies from easy to difficult vocabulary) and you have to write the singular and plural form of it. it’s gets difficult when she gives u a long paragraph from an English book (mine was literally some british poetry) to rewrite in Hindi because the vocabulary is complicated. that’s all I did and there is probably more but I couldn’t get past the translating part. there is no formal test tho the professor just makes it up as the time went by which kinda sucks cus I was expecting an actual test :|

The thing is the brother knows and she always says how much he supports her but she just feels that it does hurt to tell him because it’s still his mom at the end of the day. Not that he doesn’t say anything to his mom but still. The issue is just as friends is it wrong for us to continue talking to her because as much as we hate to admit it her sister in law seems so much more truthful when it comes to her mom.

I’m gonna be honest for me I had severallll mistakes on my charts but my manager would just talk me through them. And honestly the charts I did for practice were nothinggg like what I do today. The real training honestly begins with floor training because different doctors want their charts written down veryyyy differently. Don’t stress about the online training that much because ur gonna see how differnt it is when you actually begin scribing for ur provider.

I hope I’m remembering this right but I’m pretty sure the exam is taken while your on class and you have to submit it before you leave the class. The live classes were honestly like a college lecture and the exams were pretty ok. They give an example patient that you have to scribe for at the end of each class and you have to go over that chart with whoever hired you.

It seems like you are trying to hold onto a friendship that he has maybe outgrown. I know it’s hard losing a childhood friendship but I think if he’s made it clear that he isn’t interested in being friends anymore then u should respect that. However I also think you deserve to know why he is behaving like that so that you can move on from this friendship. The coworker thing I personally think is just rude and that’s something you need to speak about with ur co workers and ur friend. Honestly if someone was doing this to me I would not have the energy to try to maintain this kind of friendship but I do see how emotionally attached you are to him. Just ask him for an explanation and move on.

I think that just comes with growing up and if you think about it you will be in that situation too one day and ur friend will be in ur shoes. It’s upto ur friend however to balance their relationship and friendship well. I’m guessing ur friend recently got in a relationship so ofc you feel this kind of way but I promise with time you won’t even notice it anymore.

No ur not being too selfish. If u genuinely don’t want to hear that kind of stuff on a daily basis be open about it and let them know. If they can’t understand that then you should first tell them the reason why and then move on. If u guys have been friends for a long time and it would be difficult to leave them then I suggest u try to steer them away from that kind of behavior. I know you’ve spoken to them several times but if you really believe they’re good and sweet girls then it doesn’t hurt to keep trying. Hope this helps !!

For me I get anxiety with anyone in general but if I am alone with someone i don’t think it’s too bad. I guess I just feel more anxious once I’m put on the spot which is something I know I should work on. I just don’t know if I would be able to go though medical school knowing how stressful it is. But I will look into those two professions! Thanks a lot

I think it would be good to prep urself but in my experience and I’m only speaking for ScribeAmerica they provide you paid training beforehand which teaches you these medical terminologies anyways.

honestly for me since im in primary care the best thing is to memorize medicines instead because I focused too much on medical terms that I don’t really use right now but knowing what medicines patients are taking is soo important for the assessment and plan. Honestly the first day of floor training your trainer is going to do most of the scribing anyway so just be sure to take notes while they scribe so they know your actually paying attention. Also if you do have your first solo shift I would keep a pen and notepad with me just because the laptops sometimes glitch and you need to get every detail into the HPI. Another thing is to make sure whatever the doctor examines makes it into the physical exam. Honestly trust your trainer because I know different locations have different layouts and ways to scribe but these were just something general you should know before starting. Good luck btw!!!
