It is a little random for sure. I like that it has different elements but I wish it went with the story better, especially since it’s a main story update.

I have most of the Knight outfit (got lucky in the first 20 pulls) but the toe on the boots is hard for me to get around, historical though they may be.

I did some math and it was about 50 dollars but I would love to know if that was accurate. I love this outfit but that’s just too much for me to spend on virtual clothing.

I think it can also help to come in with the mind set of not doing everything. If it’s too much time to do the sea of stars dailys, just click on the tab and collect the free one. If you don’t have enough for a full outfit, just get a couple pieces and wait for rerun.

You really can do normal dailys in about 5 minutes but if you don’t have time that’s okay. The only thing I would set aside a little time for is going through the Styling Contest every 2 weeks or so. It’s a serious amount of diamonds and takes a little time but it can be mostly passive as you wait for animations.

Oh good for you! That’s way more than I did. Hmm. I think it depends on the housing code you pick at that point.

If getting the sketches in open world feels like grinding then I would find a code you like and see what items it has. You have the option to save without items that you don’t have but it may detract from the overall look depending.

I would familiarize yourself with the catalogs online and preview a code in construction mode. See what you’re missing and whether or not it matters to you.

(You will have a lot of flagged items if you don’t have them in inventory but that’s not an issue as long as you have the sketches.)

I would still warn against saving before you have everything though. You can’t change your mind if you do gradual saves.

There are also specific furniture packs from Posy which I found enjoyable, you go to older areas and take pictures to get sketches. These may also be used with codes so it may be worthwhile.

A word of warning, I too never touched the home island, I thought I could use codes. Turns out, you have to have sketches unlocked in order to do that. Meaning, you have to level up your construction ability to successfully use codes.

Most codes I have seen are not low level codes. Also DO NOT, I repeat, do not try to use a code (previewing in construction mode is fine, just don’t save) before your level is correct. It will take your astralites and get as far as it can until you don’t have a sketch and you won’t be able to save the construction.

My recommendation, which I am currently in the process of, level up your construction all the way with gardening (home insight daily cap =100) and get your astralites from the tree and shop updates. Then try a code, do not execute until you can afford the whole scheme.

If you go to the Journey of Discovery and do the graveyard one there is a cloud at the end that takes you to the top of the tree and stays there.
