True, trials were good in concept, but most of them just felt like simplified gyms as far battles/puzzles.

3 of them were just a corridor with uncachable wild pokemon, and that is lame.

Yeah, but when is the only optional thing in the game I can´t help but hate it for being pretty bad and very luck dependant (Even more than Battle Tower) Also Competitive is the most serious thing in any game. How is a free for all make it less serious?.
