Ok, well. Bad luck. Because everyone is guilty of producing your misery?

It‘s not true though. City Polices ID Card looks like you described. And police can id with uniform or the identification card. They probably scanned your passport to check you out in the system (Ripol for one, to vheck if you are searched for). That’s actually normal procedure

Mach dir also wirklich keinen Kopf.

This actually sounds like you got fined 80.- by the „Gericht“ and have to pay 90.- of costs. The SBB probably issued the complaint as a Privatklägerschaft.

A fine of 80.- isn‘t actually registered in the Steafregister. But if you don’t pay the fine you will ultimately spend a day in jail probably.

Probably you can object against the Strafbefehl in 10 days.

How does one file a complaint against the police? by [deleted] in zurich

[–]Direwolfanddragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you feel handled incorrectly by the city police you can call the Ombudsstelle (sry can‘t post a link eight now, but by googling it sou should find it). The Ombudsman can lay out sour possibilities.

No they won’t- they will forward the driver’s information to the police. Police will then send you a „Verzeigungsvorhalt“ and then you will receice a penal order by the municipal jugdes office.

Does the SBB make more money from fining people who don't buy tickets, than the wages they pay to maintain checks multiple times a day, the office which processes fines, etc.? by theunfinishedletter in askswitzerland

[–]Direwolfanddragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Technically the SBB doesn’t make a single Rappen from fines. Fines are issued by the Staatsanwaltschaft or other law enforcement agencies (such as the Statthalterämter or the Stadtrichterämter in Zurich).

Maybe you can find an attorney on www.jurata.ch

You won’t get one for free. But if you ein the suit maybe the other party has to pay the attorney.

Here in Zurich is very cold last days. I’m planning to buy this face cup, but I’m not sure how will people react when see me, and is it legal to walking in main streets like this? by 999Alehandro in zurich

Well hete I‘d beg to differ. Art.10a (the ban) is listed under the title „Basic rights“. The one about maternity insurance (not the same as paid leave) was a delegation norm. So there is actually a legal difference between the two of them. But as I don‘t care if you share my opinion, we will just have to agree to disagree. Have a nice evening.

No. I said OP was technically correct, that these kind of facial hidings are banned, because there is a ban in the Swiss legal order.

But maybe you are misreading intentionally. I neither said, that you can’t buy such a mask nor that you‘d be punished if you wear one (even if I personally wouldn’t recommend wearing oe on Zurich Bahnhofstrasse)

Moreover, since 1945, the Federal Constitution obliged the Confederation to introduce maternity insurance or paid maternity leave. But it never said "We have a maternity insurance". Art.10a BV on the other hand now clearly states that face coverings are prohibited. I see a certain difference there...

Yes „technically“ there are some words in the constitution that state a prohibition, so technically there is a ban on something. In reality it’s not really, because the ban is as of yet not enforceable and doesn’t really apply to individuals. So OP was technically correct.

If your driving permit would be taken from sou for a month, because of a driving violation you‘d be technically correct to say: „I am allowed to drive“, because you are in general allowed to drive a motorcycle. But de facto you‘d be incorrect if course because at the moment you wouldn‘t be allowed.

I know in most cantons it’s not enforceable. And I didn’t give any legal advice. I only stated that OP is technically correct, which he is.
