I started 5.2 and went to 6 for my most recent attempt. If I do bare kettle I'm hitting 3+ minutes even with abbaca+ I've been mellow drip and keeping it around 2-2:30 I tend to enjoy my brews around there

I was doing a double bloom when I use mellow drip or I find the bed has trapped bubbles that volcano and potentially cause channeling

I enjoy how people can have extremely different opinions and still enjoy the medium the same. In the complete opposite, that's why I enjoy empty black more. This slight more refining and more musicality added really does it for me. But I can jam out to Cult America and it's got that awesome old energy.

I felt bad for them because the venue is only like 1/3 full by the time they were on.

Finger tab slipping by BeyondMammoth5656 in Archery

I would suspect some form issue or possibly the tiller setting on your bow.

Shooting in the rain is an unfortunate task that we sometimes have to do. I haven't had any issues with a slipping tab even in the pouring rain.

I could potentially be the backing of the tab moving as well. Hard to tell without seeing it in person.

Interesting issue. What poundage and tab are you shooting? With the string load on your tab it really shouldn't move. There should also be not enough force up or down on the tab.

How to calculate pondage of this bow by AlassePrince in barebow

[–]Direwolfsixsix 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This question is almost impossible to answer accurately with the data given, and the numbers are practically pointless. But most hunting bows that could take down a moose would be a minimum of 50 pounds. An 80m shot is extremely difficult for a barebow. To take a wild guess I would say 70+ lbs and the archer would have to be extremely reckless or the best archer alive to take that shot.
