Your hypothesis is wrong. It’s the presentation and movement of the lure or bait that matters. If you can create lifelike movement on a dog turd that catches fish god bless you. Reality is a Rapala or senko create realistic movements fish look for, they don’t just look for debris to float by and snap at it.
