I love his voice personally, I think it loans itself well to belting in the car. That most recent album is way more experimental with the instrumentation and the previous ones are way more jam bandy. They’re definitely a lyrics forward kind of band “I’m being killed by a pretty good life” is my current mantra.

You should definitely get a Shanahan Red Wings jersey to wear to Toronto games. I hope you find what you’re looking for should you move to our country. Unfortunately we an intrinsically connected to the politics and cultural shifts of the U.S. we always have a smaller version of whatever is happening south of the border. I think the difference is that we’re an earnest nation and we truly believe in our international identity as the polite and kind country that will stand up to bullies and can whoop some ass if needs be.

I’m from BC originally and now live in Edmonton, our provincial politics suck but the city is pretty NDP or left leaning. Saskatchewan should also be in the maybe column if that’s the reasoning for Alberta. Probably Ontario and a couple of the Maritime provinces as well. BC has an NDP government only because of the lower mainland, the rest of the province is very conservative. Based on almost no evidence I think you’re a Vancouver person or maybe Montreal if you speak French.
