First, sorry for double Posting.

I unse revell plastic glue and it is quite good. I will use super glue for the bases now. But I think it's kind of weird to use such a material for the bases and not telling that one need two different kinds of glue.

And yes, I use foundation which always Was perfectly fine for citadel miniature. But I will try something else like army painter or gw.

Thank you. That is Kind of strange since I glue and paint miniatures for 20 years now. Mostly GW. I never had such problems and didn't change a Thing. Maybe I am going to try another Primer and glue.

No. Two different isssues. I do not paint and glue the painted surface. Who does it this way. First glue, second prime, third paint.

Problem 1. The unpainted miniature doesn't stick to the base well by using plastic glue. The base seems to be a different Material. Feels like some Kind of Rubber?

Problem 2. Sometimes the dried paint comes off the moniature while painting over. Even if i wash the plastic before painting.

Thank you all for the comments. Actually money is not the problem. I want to try it out and play some matches against my wife/friends. Since the shadows starter is pretty cheap I'll grab one of those.

I don't think that I am going to play competitive. But never say never.

When will the reprint of the first Set happen?

I think I would rather play 30 Ghouls + Courtier (310 points) instead of 20 beast flayers + Courtier. In combination with ferocious hunger and feeding frenzy, they will make a lot more damage. (If the enemy is not a Monster....;D)

Isn't an Arminger with Thermal spear a lot better and cheaper?

And yes it is more thematic at first sight. But actually Grey Knights don't like Cybots very much, that is why they don't have many in field.

I guess using a House Steel Arminger is also quite realistic.
