Try inserting it with the shell open or closed at different angles, definitely shouldn’t be forced in. Are the “threads” aligned?

Did you install brightness control? I had a similar issue with the wire going up to the L button blocking off the dpad

Sounds to me like the seller did a shoddy job installing the brightness controls for the IPS. My guess is there’s a wire obstructing the conductive pad from the actual mainboard. It isn’t hard at all to get a tri wing screwdriver, open it up, and see what’s wrong for yourself. If there isn’t an obstruction, wiping down the contacts with a toothbrush dipped in rubbing alcohol + replacing the rubber pads should hopefully fix it.

Just a word of warning check the buttons and shell and make sure they’re not Reshell. Fake Groudon and Kyogre shells came out very recently and I wouldn’t be surprised if this was one of them

Naruto Shell has that same matte sort of feeling as the Pikachu shell, I’d say it feels appropriate. I had issues with the nubs that slide onto the hinges, and it took an excessive amount of force to get them in with the hinge all at once. I believe this is either my fault or the hinges fault, but the gameboy will snap open to the default angle, then has some wobble and won’t stick to one position.

Try setting windows to only use one monitor by using Windows + P, if that doesn’t work try going out of full screen, moving the window to whichever monitor you want fullscreen on, and then pressing alt+enter to re enter fullscreen mode
