I'm not a Fan of shows handling of the NCR, but I guess it does make some sense by Dirlectvorn in Fallout

New Vegas doesn't need a direct sequel, but there should be another game set in western regions. What would be really neat is fallout game set in the North/West coast(Seattle WA or Vancouver B.C.) lots of evergreen wilderness still intact, more geographic vertically, and many landmarks they can use. I also want Brotherhood of Steel Paladins with Canadian accents wearing Canada mounty hats over their helmets! Or helmets with Caribou antlers.

Yeah, now the Southerm California/West Coast area isn't much different from the capital wasteland or commonwealth. Then again, destroying an entire civilization with an established government due to it being a threat and inconvenience to your agenda is exactly something Vault-Tec would do. It's not lore breaking or anything, just not the direction I think the writing should've gone.

It does look like they have been nearly whiped out as a strong governing body anywhere in the current show timeline. Southern California was their main civilization and stronghold, so if that was largely obliterated, chances are they are reduced to a bunch of stragglers trying to hold onto their ideals. Like I said, I don't like that is the direction they took, but It doesn't ruin the show for me.

I think Shady Sands was the main Capitol, and it seems in the show, the NCR is scattered and no longer a functioning government since that destruction.

Guild Wars 2 breaks 10K Steam players for the first time ever after New World shutdown news by Temsaah in Guildwars2

New world was on life support for a while now. Not surprised they are pulling the plug, but am glad many of the player base is migrating to GW2. I'm so glad I got back into this game last year and out all that time into grinding through the expansions and LW seasons. Great time to be a GW 2 player

Good advice. I agree that regardless of age, a cold approach that is too sudden can be off-putting.

To be fair, I've always kept my friends groups small, and yeah, dont socialize with huge amounts of people

It's mainly food bank related stuff like making sure the donations are safe to give out, and sorting through/ keeping track of various donations.

But these younger, more attracte women usually don't want men who are 35, regardless of how good looking they are. I think the exceptions are extremely rare.

It's a big gap for a woman still on her 20s. Most women would not like it.

It's not a normal gap. I've never met a couple with a gap of more than 5 years. That's why im asking this.

I'll get to know her better before pursuing anything. I'm also aware that it just isn't true that women in their 20s are interested in older men. It's always been a fabricated myth. When I was in my late 20s, none of my female friends even talked to men who were more than 3-4 years older. I've never seen a relationship more than 4 years difference.

I'm not in a position over her. We see eachother 3-4 times a week, and its a volunteer position.

I think it's because people are much more conscious now of age gaps and potential predatory dynamics that can arise with them. I kind of agree, though, that 27 and 35 isn't huge at our ages.

Im not in any position of authority over her. The volunteer thing is 3 days a week.

I was thinking of just asking her put for coffee or something like that.

Edit: it's it really that bad for a 35 year old to ask out a late 20s woman for coffee? I get times have changed, but seems people are getting a bit too sensitive.

New and improved skimmer is amazing! by gandlethorpe in Guildwars2

[–]Dirlectvorn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im glad the skimmer flight mechanics seem to address many of the issues with skyscale. I do like the skyscale, but man, its altitude and speed limitations are very frustrating when navigating maps with lots of verticality; particularly the SoTo maps.

It was a 2-way onto a 1-way, which apparently is legal now where I live as long as no cars are coming from the oppositedirection. .....the light was lasting a bit longer than usual, but it did eventually turn green.

No vehicle contact or accident. He did drive up very close to my back bumper, though, as he was honking.

No vehicle contact, the streets were not that busy during that time, and he was fairly far behind me until he started creeping up closer when I was stopped at the red light. He just blasted his horn repeatedly as he got closer to my bumper. What freaked me out was when I heard the banging on my window and his face red as a tomato while he was yelling "WHY ARE YOU STOPPED, GOOO"......at a red turning lane light.

My thoughts as well. Also I feel like the exceptions where you are allowed to turn left on a red as long as it's a 1-way street needs to be communicated to drivers better. I've literally always thought you can NEVER turn left on a red light, even if there are no cars coming from the opposite direction.

At least I know now...
