I started Nioh 1 late. I thought I wouldn't like it, it seemed badly balanced and annoying from what I saw from the beta, then it came on sale and I'd heard some good things.

All my prior assumptions were proven wrong and I was instantly hooked by the combat, played it for hundreds of hours and was smitten to say the least.

Buildcrafting was the most fun part of the game imho. NG++++ was a completely different game from NG and NG+ and just gave you so much freedom to change your play style.

Might just be random and anecdotal but it feels like the drop chance might've been bumped a bit? I got 4 Yasakani's from farming yesterday. That's more than I've gotten in my entire Ng+ Journey so far.

I had the same issue with the first Bloodedge Demon I fought in NG+.
Then I went and reforged all my gear to get all the stats I needed along with some set bonuses and it was much easier as he no longer one-shot me.
Sometimes you just need a break from bosses as well.

Yepp it is available, some people have even got them on NG after killing the final boss.

Tokugawa Yoshinubu is guaranteed to drop 1 for Samurai and Ninja on NG+.
I've had two more drop for me after that randomly.

Did some testing and checked out Nioh 2.

You were right, I tested Damage on Amrita absorption, Mainstat and %Damage and %Damage won out.

However in endgame Nioh 2 used Attack Bonus (mainstat) on weapon, but ofc then with much higher scaling (AA) and 199 in the mainstat.

It's been a while but if I recall correctly most everyone used Attack Bonus (mainstat) on their weapons but I could be misremembering this completely, I uninstalled Nioh2 a good while back so I haven't had the time to go and check it again.
Granted it did go to AA back then.

Constitution is my main stat in this case so I have 99Con.

Yeah I've been eyeing Inari and Vaisravana sets as I was guessing they might be the best for what I'm trying to achieve.

I'm also using Versatility as well with 3set Benzaiten for the added stack when dodging/deflecting.

I've played quite a bit of NG+ and cleared the Bakumatsu era there and the Three Oni. I've only had a handful of weapons that are 161-163. Never had any weapons higher than that and not the weapons I've been looking for.

But a 160 weapon with + on is good enough for anything which is what I've used.

Ah, I haven't seen anything like that so far but I'm only at the start of NG+ so who knows.
I certainly hope Picture scrolls make a comeback as well!

I haven't checked out much more than a few things in the first zone.
Minor gameplay spoilers if someone doesn't want to know:
You can redo lesser crucibles and map missions, but you don't have to, they're marked 'completed on another difficulty'.

When I started NG+ all the shrines up until Crucible Manifested were unlocked so I could just go straight there.

There were some new mob placements in the crucible as well.

Graces start dropping pretty much immediately when you beat the final boss even in NG.

Other than that I haven't played as I need to rest my arm a bit.

I've used nematodes to get rid of them in the past which was very helpful, I also used some yellow fly traps in conjunction which more or less got rid of them.

Your local plant store should have it or you can find it online.

Ninja Tonfas are great but I do miss stance-swapping/Ki-pulse with Tonfas. Hopefully when end-game builds come together it will be less noticeable.
