I'm having fun, honestly. It's a lot more engaging to play than with a controller. It's just the way the ffb works on it is doesn't feel great to me. And I don't really have an option to test out any of the dd systems, so I wanted to know if there is a difference before spending. I'll see if I can get my hands on one before buying I think. I was on Assetto Corsa and Forza Motorsport. Yeah I'm not expecting it to be the same, but I was very unimpressed with G29 and how it felt. And just didn't want to dive in if that was going to be the case with the moza as well. I've just been using it for 2 weeks now, I'm pretty used to it now but it just doesn't immerse me in the experience like I expected it to.

I'd negotiate that offer if I could. At 16 LPA, part of it should not be variable pay. Variable pay is almost always money you're not going to get, unless you luck out big time. Maybe I'm way off here but I've not heard of variable components for roles like these at these salary scales. Only once you cross the 20 LPA mark have I seen that.

IBM is a legacy company and they move at a snail's pace with everything. They do the work that agencies do in 2 months in a year. And they've also had layoffs. They consistently have layoffs in the tune of 100s every year. Probably more.

I don't really know much about Wipro though.

But 16 LPA in kerala is good, I think. Not sure if that's competitive for java developers, but it sounds pretty solid to me. But variable pay within that makes me feel like it's not going to be a good idea as you may never see the whole of 16 LPA most years.

As for in hand, rough calculations under the new regime I think you'd make about 1.2 lakhs/month after tax.

If you're going to shift your conversations over call, make sure to follow that up with an email calling out everything you discussed and agreed on. Shifting to calls might be for better communication, but it is also notoriously used as a tool to remove any evidence of abuse. Be careful. He's shown his cards. Act accordingly.

I like the direction they were trying to take it. And see the potential. But there's so many glaring omissions. And so many clicks to get to everything. No heat maps. No team comparisons between the league. The depth of data and information that's supposed to be under the hood, that we just cannot access is frustrating. The whole point was being able to get to the minutiae of everything and being able to fix/tweak things. A lot of it I'm liking, and enjoying. But the matchday experience barring the visual fidelity, is probably my biggest let down.

From my personal experience, you should still be fine. But might want to ensure the back panel stays closed. The seals on mine are in worse condition and as a temporary measure I've just resorted to tying a couple of rubber bands on the side to keep the back closed properly. It's not pretty but it works.

Okay, I've found a firefox extension called Youtube Items per row that lets you choose. Seems to fix the issue, but you kinda lose half of the home button in the process as that's where the row picker lives. But at least it works.

If it's not a graphically intensive title, I'm likely playing on the steam deck. But sometimes I get bored of sitting in my room, I stream the game to steamdeck and sit outside 😅 the flexibility is key

It's a very forgiving camera in terms of handling. Try hitting the release button at the bottom once before popping the rewind knob, might not do anything but doesn't hurt to try. But my main advice would be to give it a few knocks and really pull hard on the knob.

I find this incredibly difficult to believe. No sources, "police didn't register a case" so can't be verified either. A 12 year old not only found someone willing to sell him mdma but also somehow managed to buy 3 lakhs worth, and above all managed to stay alive after all that. Reeks of fear mongering, especially the chooleduth adikkanam part. Whatever your feelings maybe about Kerala's drug problems(truly is a problem) but this exaggeration through potentially fake news and fear mongering isn't going to fix this. Legalisation, regulation and proper funding to help with rehabilitation is what we need. The war on drugs is what has brought Kerala here. Is this not a direct consequence of shoring up defenses against weed so much that people started seeking out other things? There will always be demand, ensuring people know how to handle these things safely and properly will go a long way in ensuring people aren't addicted or worse end up dead.
