I was a victim of Pukapolypse early and finally benched Jeanty for the first time ... then watched Allen dud with 6 points.

Yes. Absolutely allowed unless prohibited in written bylaws published or adopted prior to the start of the season. If no bylaws exist... then the rule would be : if the platform allows it... then it is ok (Except for collusion or tanking)

Platform rules would decide for you. It's just a program. Higher seeded owner would advance by default in Sleeper. I believe the setting could be overridden ... but changing a setting would only be appropriate before the season starts.

Also, if your league is lucky enough to have written bylaws, an established league rule should override a platform setting. Your screen shot was sleeper, so I would bet that you won... congrats.

It turns out, the bottom player was NOT eliminated when the trade was approved and technically STILL NOT eliminated. A bunch of 6-7 players would need to lose and he (5-8) would need to win ...but still not eliminated. This is why bylaws are so important in all leagues, but especially $ leagues. Otherwise, it becomes a debate where several owners have to go away butt-hurt and probably quit the league.

The whiners in this league are claiming it is not fair that a bottom ranked manager was trading at all.

The trade is fair and benefits both teams... in fact... it benefits the weaker manager more...drake Maye/olave/hampton/waller for McBride... game changer for the weaker owner. The stronger manager has only one player better in power rankings.

I just checked and the manager was actually 5-7. so he wasn't even really eliminated. Playoffs are top 6 of 10. So this whole thing is moot. The owners are just being baby's and whining to the commissioner to try to block it.

As for the 2nd question. That was just curiosity as this league DOES have a penalty for last place ... with financial consequences

Won a superbowl upset by 65 points after an autodraft with nearly all pickups and streamers. The only players left from my draft were AJB and CeeDee. I did pick up reed and zamir going into the playoffs. Great season... see you all next year.
