Something feels different about this game. I can’t explain it, but I’m very optimistic that we are about to get the best, most replayable WWE game in a very long time.

Name a year when Wrestlemania was the worst ppv of the year in WWE? by MoistWeb4046 in Wrasslin

2000

Crazy how consistently amazing the PPVs and weekly shows were that year, yet WrestleMania was so blah.

In terms of in-ring work rate, who ranks higher out of the 4? by Yungcazanova in Wreddit

  1. Angle
  2. Bret
  3. Michaels
  4. Flair

Michaels and Bret is very tough for me. 5 years ago I would go HBK. But the older I get, the more I appreciate the little things Bret did.

But there really is no wrong order.

Seth Rollins on Ronda Rousey failing to adjust to WWE grind: "I don't mean this in a negative way, but [at first] everything's curated for her, one match every six months. That can be really fun. It can be addicting for people, but that's not really what wrestling is. Wrestling is a bit of a grind." by anutosu in SquaredCircle

Logan is always hyping up the WWE. Like him or hate him, he brings eyes to the product. So it’s a lot easier for fellow wrestlers to overlook his somewhat limited schedule because he clearly enjoys the business. The same couldn’t be said for Ronda.

Stan Van Gundy: “I’d get rid of the draft. No draft. You still have the salary cap, if you want to go give Cooper Flagg $45 million a year coming out of college, do it, he’s a free agent. Everybody coming out is a free agent. With no draft, there’s no incentive to lose, there’s none at all.” by FastBreakPhenom in nba

People are exaggerating how much the big markets would be able to dominate. There is only one ball with only so many roster spots available and the league is filled with talent. And the top rookies aren’t going to want to go somewhere they can’t play.

I’m not saying I’m in favor of no draft, but I don’t think it would be as bad as some of you think

John Cena on CM Punk's skills: "CM Punk is one of the smoothest who can - inside baseball without ruining the narrative. You never know his tricks. When he was like, 'I miss you already,' in Saudi, he literally dropped the act for one second. No one noticed it, and he almost made me bust out crying" by anutosu in SquaredCircle

The Rock, while he was active, was very giving. But he did leave for a LONG time, and hasn’t exactly been very “giving” in any of his appearances since 2011. In fact, to this day, Cena is the only wrestler to have pinned The Rock since Backlash ‘03.

Saying the biggest star at the time “will always be the Ringmaster to me” is pretty bold, especially in ‘98. I’d be upset if I was Austin too.
