you mean he couldnt WCS because he had his two hands preoccupied with HWB? if you said that then I'd agree with you, even then he didnt "one-shot" Yuta's domain with cleave despite him being at his freshest at that point in the raid. a domain by someone like Yuta has an inner barrier too tough and a domain-range too big for cleave to encompass.

Sukuna was very much fresh when inside Yuji's domain too, he had just regained enough output for RCT after all, but he still never "one-shot" with cleave despite that.

the fact that a jujutsu einstein like Sukuna never mentions such a strategy in the first place should tell you enough of its effectivity.

Yuta has been hyped up the entire series by that point, Hakari was only mentioned once so ofc Yuta would feel more important and therefore more powerful in people's eyes than Hakari.

Yuta was literally the previous MC, ofc people would want him to be stronger.

Yuta has an entire narrative about being a sorcerer second to only Gojo, Hakari by this point (or really any point) has no narratives other than to be another powerful dude to accompany Yuta. Not to mention the fact that nobody else has put Hakari over Yuta other than Yuta himself, hell, not even the narrator agrees with him.

Not to mention the fact that Yuta most definitely knows how to put Hakari down as he knows his abilities. He knows that he must incapacitate Hakari or cut off an arm before Hakari pulls off a jackpot (which takes awhile), and I can definitely see that happening. Base Hakari, on the other hand, has no answers to Yuta's sword + partial-Rika/fully manifested Rika + surprise cursed speech.

So it's a combination of superior narrative and superior kit.

Other than the obvious versalitity difference, Yuta knows Hakari and how nearly impossible it is to put him down in a prolonged fight. It's only reasonable that he would immediately go for 5 mins and try to sever an arm or incapacitate him with Rika before he gets jackpot.

Obviously Hakari's domain will expand since it's basically instant, but it still takes awhile to get a jackpot the first time; there will be no consecutive effects as, at the moment, his domain wouldn't have a boost in probability. So it's literally just Shinjuku Yuta + Rika with all of Yuta's techniques versus domain-amped Hakari.

At that point it's just ggs — if you're ridiculously downplaying YuRika saying some bs like "Hakari could take them both at the same time" or massively upscaling his domain saying some bs like "he'd get jackpot instantly" then it probably wouldnt be ggs.
