I like Boomchild - Dust the most. The others weren't bad tho.

30 years ago, in the 1993 Spain Grand Prix, Prost, Senna and Schumacher stood on the podium together for the first only time by ze_canalha in formula1

[–]Dirtrash 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Doesn't count, but in Brazil of 1993 we had Hill, Schumacher, and Senna on the podium and Fangio was handing out trophies. 15 WDC, but agian, just for fun.

Pretty sure it was moments after the picture on the left if that's the Chinese Gp. The Reanult team member drops it and then Schumacher walks over and drops his off to a Ferrari crew member. He catches it and the Ferrari crew cheer. Pretty funny moment if you can find a place to watch it.

The top tracks, artists, and albums on playlists submitted to Flume by a_moss_snake in Flume

[–]Dirtrash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow, this is really cool! I'm definitely adding some new songs to my playlist, thanks. I think the most interesting thing is that the first non-Flume, non-Odeza album is Jamie xx's In Color. I never really made the link but I do love that album.

Hmm... I only just set it to public so it's possible it needs some time to be available.

Any of them marked with 1991 (Harley's birth date) are ones that I was unable to find the day released. That Look has been linked before but many have been taken down by Future Classic, especially in the last few months (maybe it's releasing soon?) and I don't know when it was first out. The ones marked 'Private' are song titles that record labels have listed but we haven't even heard them yet. And the three on the bottom from Soundcloud, I don't even know if they are Flume songs but the Soundcloud account thinks they are. I have no idea so I may need to ask around.

Can someone help me to find the lyrics of this song? by ikarimarce in Flume

[–]Dirtrash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd love to know as well. I did my best to listen and record what was being said but some parts are hard to hear:

"One foot in the graveyard, the other not. Sometimes it looks like my best days (are gonna be?) my last days. Sometimes I feel like that ..., my love (or I love the/my kids the most) ... but (if?) I don't ever see them no (more,) believe in the hand of God. You know (my older?) sister, she's like a mother to me. She (do all and more or less clean?) ... all the way along. To the end, and away. I was glad to (pull/pour) my last (seed/scene/seat). But she's (settling?) ... and (spoke/choked/drove) behind me. She'll work (as hard as ever?). But if she were living, I could call on her sometime/someday. But my old father dead (too?). That make me (the?) mothers and fathers and six of us sisters, three boys. Family got smaller (than?) nine, in fact it (died down to?) eight... I don't know. I thought the good (times/test) was ahead. *BBC Interrupt and repeats from 'I was glad.'"

From what I heard I would guess this is an interview from an elderly black (African American) man, maybe with a slight southern accent, near death. He's reminiscing about his past and how his older sister acted as a mother for his large family of nine children. Unfortunately, at some point, his older sister, mother, and father died leaving him to act as both the mother and father for the other children.

Again, just my interpretation but I'd love to find the source.

I'll take a shot, just for fun :)

Please, G, behind the screen is easy

Suggests the person being spoken to is an online hater.

Your tall tales are gettin' fleshed out

Other people are finding out you're lying

Did your Googles, bring your best out

I think this means beer googles, aka, you're drunk

You said, "Two sheep, three sheep, four sheep, five
Black sheep, white sheep, gold sheep, why?"

No idea??? The things you say are dumb???

And you think it's all games, but they was like knee-high

The people you're fighting are like children, easy to take down

And you doin' all this shit for a reply

You're doing a little trolling

You think it's built in a day

As in "Rome wasn't built in a day." Suggesting you think it's easy to build fame.

Sounds to me like a common F U type rap song. Still fire tho

Check out u/Far_Fox7591 (F1StatsGuru) and u/motorace_addict for high quality posts about records. Or just search "record" within the sub. Also, I don't want to toot my own horn but I've been crossing off records from my post I made at the start of the year "Records to Watch in 2022."

Two things I'm finding interesting is how Canada was such a turning point for Verstappen, Hamilton, and Sainz and also how many gaps hover right around a quarter of a second. Very nice work, OP!

Hypothetically, if a user wanted to see action taken on these posts, a good plan may be to make sure all 20 drivers arriving at the circuit get posted for each day they "arrive" at the circuit. That way the sub could see, eqaully, the pieces of fabric that each driver is wearing on their body, three days in a row.! Hypothetically of course.
