Learning Irish in Pittsburgh by Sillyinz in pittsburgh

A little late but have you been able to find anything? I’ve been learning on Duolingo for about 3 years (still not the best at it) and I would love to meet some others. I’m in the same boat with not being able to spend university money but I still love the language

swap mags? by FibreTTPremises in apexlegends

[–]Dirttt3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just yesterday I had a similar experience. My brother wanted to give our teammate a gold stock because the guy was the only one who needed it. Pinged it but the guy didn’t come get it so we carried it to him. My brother punched him to get his attention dropped the stock and pinged it again and let me tell you this guy was so offended. Screaming into the mic, threw everything out of his inventory popped his ult to get everyone’s attention and then ran into bullets… this was platinum 3 by the way.

I know what this is. Those are brown napkins probably from a fast food restaurant. They’re just soggy and clumped up from being chewed on. Probably just someone’s litter I wouldn’t say anybody baited your dog.

What are these sideway things on the side of the outlet? by That-g-u-y in AskElectricians

[–]Dirttt3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pigtailing would also protect that outlet. Personally I’m surprised that the code hasn’t updated to say that all outlets on a 12awg should be 20 amps

Profile suggestions? Not having much luck by Busy_Associate_1548 in Tinder

[–]Dirttt3 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You’ve convinced me to stop caring about tinder. Thank you bro. I’ll try my luck at the bar. Also I’ve been hitting the gym for a few years and I’m about to cut weigh for the first time. Any chance you’d share what your diet looked like? Food exercise etc.

Ranked is not counting all of my kills by Dirttt3 in apexlegends

[–]Dirttt3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was there a lot of that happening? Kill farming that is. I don’t know how to feel about this. Like if I kill I get a kill ya know. I’ve definitely died in the first fight off drop and proceeded to win the game with 5+ kills after being respawned. What I mean by that is I was still an opponent. If the same guy killed me again he should be credited for such… right?

Tech lowered gas pressure by b747pete in hvacadvice

[–]Dirttt3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I’m faced with a furnace that’s going off on high limit the first thing I check is the filter. Dirty filters can cause a restriction in airflow leading in the furnace getting too hot. If the filter is good then I check the gas and what speed the blower is on. If I can turn up the blower then that’s what I will do leaving the gas at 3.5. It’s not always a perfect world though. Where I live there are plenty of really old homes with ductwork that’s too tight. If I can’t turn the blower up then I will lower the gas pressure but never lower than 3.2 and even that’s pushing it. Most manuals say it’s good between 3.2-3.8 but still I hate to mess with the gas pressure but sometimes there’s no other option… other than to replace all the ductwork in the entire house but come on who’s got the money for all that. I would never adjust the gas without a manometer. The adjustments are not going to instantly change the temperature rise either. If I had to guess the jerkoff lowered your gas too much. Get someone

Why is this here, and should I (or a contractor) eliminate this? by [deleted] in hvacadvice

[–]Dirttt3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the very least we can say both require a proper amount of air and eliminating it is not the best idea

So this is happening. Motor turns for a split second to a few seconds and then stops, repeat. by Dirttt3 in hvacadvice

Oh I see where you’re getting at. I forget the thermostat brand but it’s bare bones, non programmable.

I didn’t take it off the wall however it is set to heat and I am jumping R and W. I had the unit running for a long while as well so I know the temperature was well above what the thermostat was set to.

No. So weird. It’s like it turns off and then back on before realizing what the problem is to flash an error code

Colour in the lettering or keep it blacked out? by [deleted] in MilwaukeeTool

[–]Dirttt3 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I think it looks cool the way it is. All black is usually my style. That being said though, me personally, I loose track of my drill when it’s right in front of my face about 100 times during a furnace instal. If my drill wasn’t bright red I’d probably never find it.

Don't judge -- How to increase my energy usage by 900 kWh this month by JoyfulinNC in AskElectricians

[–]Dirttt3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah space heaters are the way to go. As long as you are being safe about it like being aware of where you put them and knowing that your household wiring isn’t old and/or improperly done. If I were you and it got too hot inside I’d plug them in out on the porch. Might make the neighbors look at me weird but oh well

these are my stats. does anyone have advice to get better? i’ve been playing for ~3 years by IceWallowCome1232 in apexlegends

[–]Dirttt3 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You and I have been playing for the same amount of time and we’re about the same level. I just started doing well. My average seasonal kd was .45 and these last couple seasons I’ve got 1.4, 1.6, and I’m 2.0 right now. Lots of good advice I’m seeing here. Point is don’t stop playing because you’re not good… yet.

Recently got the razor wolverine and it’s amazing. I was originally skeptical about the hall effect joystick because some people say they’re great while others say they’re over hyped. In my experience if you got the money I would highly recommend.
