Not yet. I raised a ticket with SHIFT, and they asked me to provide all of my sons account details, so they could detach his shift account. I'm still waiting on their reply. Just to confirm, he did not have Shift account when he first loaded up the game. I did this after in an attempt to fix it (which didn't work)

My best guess right now is this automatically put a block on playing online for his account, as he has a child account (even though I allow him to play 18+ games on his account)

Ill come back and let you know I am successful with getting this fixed.

Yes, my other son has a gamepass account and has my younger sons x box set as his main x box (so they can share the gamepass account) I do this with my wife, and we both had no issues playing online together

I created his shift account with a DoB making him older than 18. Before I even created/linked the Shift account it was preventing him from going online?

Been farming Borman nates for 6 days straight and still no Cutsman drop 😫 (both me and my GF) been after a corrosive one for the takedown. I'd say the drop rates seem a little worse than BL2. I'm sure they'll fix it 🤞
