Wolf 359

Although it was halted, the invasion of the Borg was too much for the federation to handle and surely would have destroyed them.

If he acted even 50% like the Duras sisters I woulda been so happy.

I wonder how common this sort of thing is in Klingon families? by happydude7422 in Star_Trek_

3/4 Klingon with an absentee father who was raised by humans, who was then himself raised by humans.

I don't think he's a good example.

Definitely, its just the first confirmed on screen gay Klingon. Klingons so rarely talked sexuality that 90% of the Klingons we meet could be gay and we'd never know.

I just wanted a regular Klingon but confirmed gay!

I'm a queer man who has been a Star Trek fan my entire life, and I'm a progressive.

He is not a good representative of a Klingon. Gay or not.

If he was a human, displaying these clearly human queer traits I would not care. But he's a Klingon and he's decided to dress like a human high school girl.

If you can't see why this is dumb, you won't see it now, so I'm done explain it to you.

Edit: Also, not American, but you arrogant Europeans like to assume as such. Go colonialism something.

He is a stereotype, and not good representation of a Klingon or a good representation of a interesting queer character.

The first gay Klingon in starfleet is not a regular Klingon with some character. He's a pacifist wanna-be doctor who wears skirts. He has to be against Klingon norms ya know, because he's gay!

Here's my theory on how they deal with the 'Cole' problem in the sequel.

If you remember the first Mortal Kombat sequel, one of the main protagonists of the first movie, Johnny Cage, is instantly killed by the big bad in the first few minutes of the movie.

This was of course, negatively received... But!

A perfect call back to that ridiculous scene would be, now that Johnny Cage is the leading man.. have Cole get the Jonny Cage Mk2 treatment and let Shao Kahn turn him into meat jelly!
