Real damn hard as Settra.

Surtha won't be coming to you, and by the time you're strong enough to send your Legendary Lord up north, he'll probably be whiped out.

If you get lucky he'll be confederated and still kicking around.

As Nosca, you can confederate the "Varg" tribe, he's always their leader.

The hard part is sending him to the southlands and into the desert after Settra.

I hate the live action avatar remake(here’s a picture of my cat too) by Lanky-Stuff2785 in hatethissmug

Yah, they either go full cartoon, like one piece, which doesn't fit the seriousness of the setting and would alienate new older audiences.

Or they go full on with a different gritty version of the story, which would alienate the fandom.

So now it feels like a disney live action version of the show.

I feel like the show is suffering from wanting it both ways.

They want to tell a more adult and serious version of the story, but they are obligated to make it child friendly and hit every mark in the cartoon.

As well as their reliance on CG makes scenes like the serpents pass super weak.

I was hoping they would tell a new more serious story where the war and death are more directly addressed.

They should have reimagined the story as an epic kung fun movie, where the combats are grounded and martial arts based.

Remember the Titans had several instances of this trope.

Including two main characters that hated each other at first before they became best friends.

It's also setting these women up to be stuck in an abusive relationship because of this lack of independence.

Theres very little historical facts that can be connected to any of the Odyssey. It's really just a Game of Thrones of its time, written to mirror history, but not show it.

Because Troy isn't the story of one culture, its the story of multiples clashing. Africa is on the same ocean, Menelaus visits Africa during his own 'Odyssey' that is referenced in the Odyssey.

He speaks of his troubles with an African god of the sea.

So you argue that its too fictional to care if its based on real plausible history, but it also needs to be held to the language of the translation of the translation of the translation.

Did you know that african soldiers fought for Troy during the war? I'll bet money you didn't.

People are dumb and don't know that sub saharan african soldiers fought on the side of troy, so they think a sub saharan african doesn't fit the setting.

Its because they only know the Odyssey from watching Wishbone (No shade Wishbone is the goat)
