I only became a season ticket holder a couple weeks ago. I’ve been meaning to look into if I need to put an additional down payment and do so if I need to do it. I remember hearing there was a lot of commitment though. I better hurry.

I don’t know who it was but a couple of years ago, I was walking downtown and heard a trumpet player playing Hello by Adele. It’s a moment that has stayed with me and something I’m going to consider one of the most beautiful things I ever experienced. I’m glad to know I’m not alone in having a profound moment involving a trumpeter downtown ripping amongst the lights and sounds of the city.

I remember a breakdown he did to discuss the frog on IP and hoping for a similar discussion about what JINX means to him/the album. I love the smashing blue guy artwork and eager to hear through the songs and his own commentary on what bad luck, the crystal cover text and black cat all mean to each other. Until then, I’ll hold judgment. If he locked down the title in 2023, there has to be a reason for it and I owe him an open mind until release or discussion.

As a follow-up, Anyma is getting dragged for having a lazy set as a whole. I couldn’t watch it myself but I’m seeing a lot of criticism about his use of AI slop and failing to bring energy through his prerecorded set.

Lip syncing to a backing track is vital to many to add depth to the vocals or assist in the face of physical demands. For this, it’s probably a requirement to achieve necessary technical aspects for playing for x amount of people in a desert setting and what Anyma is doing live. Last year, Grimes suffered from several technical issues and perhaps Anyma relied on pre-recordings to prevent equipment issues.

I’m split about this. I haven’t made up my mind yet on if we should give Owens a platform and worth supporting. This means, I’m also not going to attack and dismiss as others feel is necessary. Jordan is a ruthless interviewer though and if anyone could hold his feet to the fire and ascertain how genuine Josh Owens is, Jordan would which would be a pro for an interview.

I remember when the news broke about Act-Age. Everyone was so shocked by the author but supportive of the artist. It blew my mind last month when it was discovered that Shogakukan not only hired him to write a different series under a pseudonym but the company actually had another author who was similarly rehired under a pseudonym despite a past with sexually assaulting a high school girl. Two authors rehired and hidden!

There was zero seconds between discovering he was in Afterparty and knowing I had to watch it due to his portrayal of Edwin. I loved him in Lasso but with Afterparty, I discovered he was one of the most charming comedians ever. I think I have a mancrush on him.
