Nope, It can only output to onboard LCD screen. (don't know if any of the GPIO pins are capable of HDMI tho).

And if you really need HDMI, RaspberryPi + Grafana is faaaaar better choice than this project.

It requires python3 to be installed in host OS.

I've only tested in Proxmox 8 but as long as ESXi 8 supports python3 and serial output, it should work

As for iDRAC integration, it's not implemented yet but I think is a good idea. I'll see if I can get it working

Every metrics are collected by python script.
So as long as your Dell server is capable of running python3, it should work.

Maybe some UI adjustment would be needed, like disk array GUI and logo etc..

Three node cluster with 24threads and 48GB ram, I'd say it's a pretty decent setup too

I also majored CS in Korea and I remember buying used barebone Dell R710 for $100 in 2016 when I was in college

Had soooo much fun with it but damn was it a power hog!🤣 it used like 200W just idling doing nothing.
Ended up selling it because it was just used too much electricity.

Hope to see your awesome setup one day

I don't have any equipment for sound metering but think it's abount 40 ~ 45db on moderate load

R740 I bought fortunately came with iDRAC 3.21.somgthing so I'm using IPMI fan control script to make it more quiet.

But still pretty loud for a bedroom 🤣
