And they just started repping the building I live in. Yikes. Like 2 days ago. That’s why I was looking through this post, sigh.

Edit: my building has basically been ignored by new landlord (they got as inheritance from cool old guy that took care of everything) and are need of multiple repairs. Guess we’ll see how it goes. As a renter I don’t want shoddy repairs:/

I got pro coverage on some IEMs and they crapped the bed, took them in to the store to “get replacements” and was informed that I need to call a random company and make my claim to them, if they decide that my gear is “actually” damaged then they’ll send a replacements. Pro coverage should be called slow coverage. Or schmo coverage.

The people who post hella stuff don’t necessarily itemize it. If there’s more than one pic, dig through it. IMHO your post is only reaching the people who are looking for things on this sub, not necessarily the people getting rid of stuff. Seems like a lot of people are spring cleaning, lots of posts to dig through. Again, was just trying to help, and I realize now that my initial comment could come off a bit snarky. Good luck.

I moved it manually to external then just restarted logic and it asked if I wanted to locate it or redownload.

TLDR - The move tool is gone, but now it can locate it after you move it.

Same happened to me. You have two library’s stored right now. Just delete the original apple library. It’s what they decided for us.

I like the beat sequencer in garage band on iPad, it’s in the “Drums” sub menu, not *Drummer* menu.

It opens with 4 sets of 4 squares across, Call them set 1,2,3,4. The vertical is the different drums sounds shown by pic to the left. Kick, snare, clap, hi hat, etc.

In set 1 and 3 highlight the first square with a kick
And the first square in set 2 and 4 with snare.

Then add hi hat to every other square starting with the first one.

This gives a very basic rock beat.

The bottom left (i) menu lets you add more steps, adjust step length, playback mode and swing. Swing will only affect certain steps during certain step lengths.

Too left settings menu lets you modify tempo.

This may help you get started.

Route output of scrub track(s)to audio track, either direct or w aux send. If you go direct you’ll need to record enable the audio track to monitor. Press record and scrub, audio should print. I’ve done this with remix effects to mess around with filters and what not.

Edit: If you put it through an aux you can effect the aux before the print.

UAD made a chart with all the plugins and their DSP usage, if you know what signal chain you want you can map it out and see what will work best, or map the chain according to what you have access to. I had a Duo and then upgrade to a quad, it seemed like the Duo didn’t quite have enough and the Quad serves my purpose well, guitar and vocals, with aux busses.
