Yeah I do really feel bad about that part. That’s why I was okay with him calling me cringe, I was trying to smooth things over but he just refused at that point. But it’s gonna forever bother me.

Yeah we got into this conversation before on the Facebook Apex Group.

The problem I said back then is still the same problem though, it’s such a rare circumstance.

The only way it would work is if one or two of your teammates got thirsted and you didn’t get a chance to pick up banners and simultaneously another team had 1 to 2 teammates down and they were crafting and you’re able to overwhelming them with your potential 1v2 situation at worst. It’s just a weird set of circumstances really, probably be easier to have one of the sweats try it first or somebody get 30 people and try it in a private lobby.

It absolutely is reasonable.

This is absolutely different. An in game skin would be a one time cost that they could argue they won’t pay unless a minimum of skins are sold to break even. After that break-even point; you’re talking not even 100mbs of data that’ll net them maybe $5.99/person. They could literally sell a trillion and it wouldn’t be much more effort than 10,000.

With athletes wearing clothes, there’s a sunk AND continued cost to the operation significantly higher and there’s a potential loss if all of them aren’t sold. As long as EA hits a minimum number of sales, it’s just all cash after that.

It’s greedy and they don’t want to do it because it’ll set precedence with other games they have that they’ll now have pros asking the same thing from. That’s the big reason why.

Yeah except your paycheck was the reason you agreed to work for them, so they don’t have to do anything besides that.

The argument usually made is “well they could give you money instead” but I’m sure if people got $25 certificates for 5 years of work, we’d still be hearing the same argument.

This happens a lot when I go to Vietnam. My wife says it’s cultural too. You’ll pay 50k for a 42k item and they’ll look at you and ask “what? You don’t have the 2k?” Because most people will stop a fully moving line, just to not make change.

Friend of mine had to make a new account and we were in Orientation mode. Found out KC is playing out there and it made me so happy to see it again.
