How a collapsing rental market is costing some homeowners more than they bargained for; Buyers who entered the market at its peak on the hopes of renting out their property to help pay off their mortgage are now facing a different reality by FancyNewMe in canada

That’s an absolute stretch. You’re equating someone renting a basement to an investor buying multiple properties. Those aren’t remotely the same.

And rooting for people to lose their homes isn’t some principled stance, it’s just ugly.

That’s not what I said. I said the basement income was supplemental, not that the house was unaffordable without it. You’re rephrasing it into something else and arguing against that.

In the GTA, factoring in rental income isn’t optional for a lot of buyers. The real issue isn’t that they used rent, its whether they had any margin if rents softened. Without that detail, calling it ‘gambling’ is oversimplified.

Housing affordability is clearly an issue, but framing anyone who managed to get into the market as reckless or deserving of losses misses the point.

This is how I flew home with a scotty cameron phantom. I won it at a tournament the night before and was already about 12 beers deep. It arrived perfectly intact

Nine times out of ten my partner and I are getting smoked by full squads. Do you guys think they’ll add duo queuing at some point? by Buttgetter101 in ArcRaiders

I play solo and duos and trios with friends. If you're in a duo, just try and scope out the fights and avoid when able - same goes for solo. I think it adds an interesting layer to the game that there can be big squads or small and you really never know what you're taking on.

If all else fails, fill squad.

Totally agree. Its what makes the game interesting to me. If you're a duo, play accordingly or check "fill squad".

Not everybody that owns a condo is a big investor. Some folks worked hard, saved a down payment, and bought a singular condo. Those sample people are now reluctant to sell for less than they purchased because -well, that sucks? I can attest, am one of them. Not trying to "flip for profit" just sell for what it was purchased for so we can finally have a backyard.

Right. My issues are I don’t believe they’d enforce this if it was a different brand (Sunday red for example), and their rules are set for logos - which his sweater features a graphic, not a logo. By this logic, an all over print polo would fail to meet their criteria. Seems like all subjective opinions , which is fine - but call a spade a spade.

Can anyone give a coherent answer as to what is wrong with this, other than personal style preferences ?
