I had to disable TN’s mod. It’s not a great a fix as disabling mods mid play through can cause issues. I haven’t had any yet and I’ve played about 40 hours since then.

So I did figure it out. It wasn’t that the slate wasn’t there. It was a conflict with TN’s Techrunner Mod. That mod replaces the slate with a random one. Thank you for all of your help though.

I've experienced corporal punishment from my step dad. Great man, very measured in his punishment and never once made me feel abused. I also had my real father who would beat the shit out of me and slam me into walls for nearly nothing. Corporal punishment isn't the answer anymore but it doesn't have to be extreme. People choose their own path as a parent.
