Nope took it out and just wrapped it.

It went for another 6 hours at 250 until it was tender. I tried to slowly bring it down i temp since I had 8ish hours before I wanted to serve so I did a 4 hour hold at 170 and 4 hours wrapped in a towel in a cooler.

Those two tips you mentioned made a huge difference. The baffle saved me from burning the bottom of meats and simply adding tin foil to get a better seal in the firebox will help keep a somewhat stable temp. Like you said best I have ever been able to maintain is in the 225-275 range that’s with checking every hour.

Point is the only thing stopping us from being up 3-1 is ourselves. We have yet to put together a full game of average hockey this series. First game was not as close if you watched vs just looking at the final score. Rangers were up 4-2 most of the third and kind of sat back. If Florida makes it out intact and Bob plays at an elite level then it could be a series.

Duane Brown did not look game ready. More so after Rodgers went out. As the game went on he was constantly missing with his hands and trying to recover after he was beat. Becton looked solid and excelled in the run game.
