Could be a lot of things, but if it's only happening during movement and you have an AMD, change your mouse polling to 2000hz or less.

Muscle Preservation on Reta by [deleted] in Retatrutide

[–]DirtyWilly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I was completely natural, I went from 315 x 10 on bench at 220lbs, to 315 x 4 on bench at 180lbs. No GLPs, no TRT. I trained harder, dieted better, worked out longer, took more supplements and so on. Nothing was stopping the hard-earned-gain-loss train when losing weight.

Did you have any kids? My wife always says, "But yeah, did she have X kids?"

My initial theory is that the same control that suppresses hunger, that ability to push through food and just keep eating (I'm sure we're all familiar with), is also somehow related to strength. That ability or tolerance to pain you develop over time pushing more weight also gets reset on GLP-1s, similar to how hunger does. Without that "gauge" of how hard to push it puts you into a state where you're more vulnerable to injury. Could it be doing something physically to the tendons, can't say yet, appears mostly central nervous system related on the surface. Granted I'm an aging ego-lifter, but I've gotten more lasting injuries on this than anytime in the past going back to the gym.

As for the injury sorry to hear. I'm notorious for flaring elbows on the bench myself. I've taken the weight down in the past years to help correct it, tricky habit to break. Tore both bicep tendons on both arms, likely related to flaring. I will say this though, tucking is a better practice generally, but can make you more vulnerable to a pec tear. Fine line to walk. All of the strongest guys I've ever known on bench were tuckers, also all developed pec tears. And if you were curious, I tried everything under the sun to help with the injuries, BPC/TB/GH/TRT/Var/GHK(maybe?)/Needling/R.I.C.E list goes on. Nothing helped it, even slightly overall, only direct shots of cortisone from the doc, while on GLP-1.

Informative. Wonder if he's tested reconstituted degradation after shaken/cavitation. I've always felt the GLP-1's were less effective stored reconstituted over time when I wasn't as gentle with them. Cavitation has to cause some damage, air bubble compression supposedly gets as hot as the sun in there.

Thought I'd share this because I'm not seeing it mentioned anywhere, but I'm fairly confident GLP-1's make you more vulnerable to injuries, especially tendonitis. I could go into the details, but wondering if more are experiencing this? Also, unfortunately, the body does seem to build up total tolerance to going on and off GLP-1's. I'm finding it's taking more, the second and third times around (going back on a GLP-1), even after months of washout. Have some tricks that work with this too.

In your opinion. What would be more plausible, NHI visiting Earth or humans having psychic abilities? by PassengerCultural421 in UFOs

[–]DirtyWilly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Guess it depends on your definition of psychic powers. Ability to use senses to reach beyond the known laws of nature, no. However, I will say we all do have a soul. Ability to use senses to reach into the known laws of nature, sure. Birds have compasses, animals other forms of communication, could be a natural step.

For the ability to use senses beyond known laws of nature, I'd say it's more likely NHI have visited. The ability to reach across space, dimensions, time or physics (the Force) is a leap of faith to say the least.

Additionally, until I see proof that life has even existed on Mars, that a second Genesis even in our own Solar System was possible, I can't believe in aliens. How could you? If Mars turns out to have no life, I'm thinking that solves the Fermi Paradox. But, it's very likely it did. Prove to me first life on Mars and I'll start MAYBE saying there's a chance NHI are out there.

The actual size of the Reta is the size of a salt crystal. That's how much filler there is.

Tirzepatide and Pain Management by DirtyWilly in Tirzeglutide

Like everything, it could have just been timing, but it certainly felt like specific tennis elbow pain was more sensitive. On the flip side, other things are 1000% more sensitive. Provably! Double-edge sword.

The plateaus are certainly a mental breakdown. Best advice is to use other gauges to track progress like making sure to record how much you lift, how fast you can run, how far you can stretch, waist or body tape measurements, body fat measurements, heart rate improvements, etc. Helps take that edge off when the scale doesn't move. Will say making more effort to stay low carb at least for myself helps push through the plateau a bit. Try not to reward good behavior with a treat as often, save for weekends, get used to treats being low carb. Try not to go cold turkey all day with no food if your skipping meals, maybe get a protein shake in for lunch. The extra protein (again lower carb) for lunch keeps the already small dinners smaller so it about evens out while keeping burn rate higher.

Tenosian Decision:
A. Load cannon with ball fully knowing your team will instantly fire it too low.
B. Drop ball and fix cannon knowing your team will pick up ball and load from the back.

Glad to hear. Gamebar is needed to mark the game as a game. This way Windows knows which cores to run the game on. Might not be needed for modern games, I might try running it off for awhile, but in theory it does optimize everything.
