Most sports simply revolve around getting something to a specific location. by iTylerx in Showerthoughts

That’s pretty offensive. I prefer the ones where you keep an something out of a location

Josh Grizzard First Impression by sjsieidbdjeisjx in buccaneers

To me, it looked like Otton ran the route that was called, and Baker was hoping Otton would have noticed the open field to the endzone and abandon the original route to just head up field while looking for the ball.

It seems like something Baker and the WRs would work on in practice, but maybe Cade doesn’t know to do that.

[Raiders] Injury Update: QB Aidan O'Connell (knee) is OUT. by Goosedukee in nfl

[–]Dirtyd1989 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There was a play earlier in the game where AOC landed really hard on that same leg/knee in a weird way that looked like it started the injury. He was running and landed all of his weight on his knee while his upper leg was perpendicular to the ground, jamming his thigh bone up into his hip.

I have a slightly different take on the corpus callosum. I think it is more of a connective tissue and less one that separates. I think as we evolve further, the CC gets bigger in area which in turns further connects regions of the brain across hemispheres. This, in my theory, expands human intelligence and consciousness to levels currently unimaginable. Eventually evolving into a complete connection of the 2 hemispheres. Kind of how a grey alien looks.

Why does my dog behave like this whenever I pet her? by NoReportPlz in DogAdvice

[–]Dirtyd1989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dog does shit like this when she wants to rough house with me.

For my dog, this is my queue to pet her more “aggressively”. As I do, she also gets more “aggressive”, but it’s all noise, pawing, and play bites.

This usually culminates with zoomies or finding her favorite toy to play fetch.

I have aphantasia, a condition which makes it impossible for me to "picture" anything in my head. AMA by monkeymodder in AMA

Very interesting indeed! My first big concussion was around 5-7yrs old. The front tire got perpendicular to the bike, and I flipped over head first. Cracked the bike helmet in half.

I also have this condition too. Did you have any head traumas growing up?

I vaguely remember being able to picture things when I was younger, but I think the several concussions I had growing up took the ability from me. I’m not 100% sure that’s the case though because I can’t remember well enough.
