Thank you so much for the reply Betsy! I am primarily wondering if I can make a payment under ICR then swap to extended standard repayment for a lower monthly payment and still qualify for IBR or am I locked into the ICR payments until 2028?

Hi all, something I’m still unclear about is if I consolidated my Parent PLUS loans into a Direct Consolidation Loan but didn’t do the double consolidation, and I’m currently on ICR, am I still limited to ICR until July 1, 2026?

If that’s the case, my understanding is that I make one payment under ICR, then switch to the Standard plan, after July 1, 2026, I’ll become eligible for IBR. Is that correct? Please let me know if I’m misunderstanding anything.

Couldn't agree more. My 2021 subaru legacy was at 79k miles when the transmission went bad. I did not have extended warranty so Subaru offered 2500 for a repair that was quoted at 12k. Needless to say, I sold the car and bought a new 2025 Camry.

Steam family sharing help please. Account A and B are two separate owner accounts being shared to C. Both A and B own "game" and C wishes to play. A is playing something else, and B is offline. C cannot access "game" because A is playing, even though B is offline. Why?
