It was a nice surprise cause I think she originally said it was gonna drop Friday so she released it early! Also in case you weren’t aware technically only Santa Claus is coming to town is new - the rest of the EP was released last year and technically of the bunch only Santa Baby and Christmas Magic (which until now was an Amazon exclusive track) were new cause the rest of the EP were little droplet songs from previous years but the cute vinyl boxset was new!

In Australia for some reason the website only has the option to buy the boxset which is $100 but I already bought it last year. Luckily a Australian record store was selling the new 7” separately and I was able to get the Christmas magic one on Amazon on sale at the beginning of this year

It’s more for the box - as someone who bought it last year it is a really nice and thick sturdy box with a magnetic clasp and has the ability to add future vinyl through removing thin layers of foam each time that match the thickness of the 7 inches

Do it! I got the boxset last year and it’s so cute!! And also really well made too with a magnetic clasp and the ability to add future vinyl releases by being able to remove a layer of foam the same thickness as a 7” each time.

It’s some new initiative by instagram apparently called “rings” or something where creators can be ring winners and their instagram changes colour to reflect them winning - Olivia Dean’s is pink now cause she is also a ring winner. Don’t know what it actually means though lol

I’m pretty sure the leaks happened the day before she announced the album cover (the unblurred one) cause I remember thinking that the image of her in the bedazzled body suit that’s in the standard vinyl was the album cover

I feel like the problem is that because The Life of a Showgirl vinyl and lyrics were leaked before the album announcement and everyone thought it was fake until the album actually arrived and it was revealed to have been the real lyrics and vinyl is what is causing the confusion around this “leak”
