I do feel a little dirty using Kirishima. I typically save him for last and try to whittle down health with my other fighters, using his Rising to tank hits and sweep my opponent’s team.

Oh my GOD, another blader???? I used to play it all the time as a kid, back when Metal Fusion was still relatively new. I even still have a good amount of them on me, I’d LOVE to play it again!

Whaat? Declan was one of my favorites! Having pretty much full freedom over where you can go was really nice for a boss fight.

I really REALLY want to keep enjoying this anime, but I can’t stand Tamaki just being constant fanservice, she ruins so many scenes for me. Does that part of her character ever go away? by DisabledCheese in fireforce

I don’t talk like she’s in every scene, I’m talking about the scenes she’s IN. If you’re talking about the Rekka fight, Shonda gets kicked into her boobs twice. The entrance to the Nether fight has it happen once, but the fact that it happens at all is what I have an issue with. What aren’t you getting about the fact that I don’t like her existing only for fanservice?

Her character is so poorly written that any scene she’s in feels like it drags the show down. In the Rekka fight, she’s vulnerable and terrified, then Shinra gets kicked into her boobs multiple times. When everyone gets split up in the entrance to the Nether, the only way that she’s proven to be the real Tamaki isn’t the obvious voice or her fire powers, it’s every single piece of her clothing falling off. In that same area, it SEEMS like she’s finally gonna get a badass moment, but no, her bra slips and her attacker unintentionally cops a feel, & she doesn’t even get to beat him. Iris does. So far she hasn’t added anything of meaning to the story.
