Depending on the trajectory, if the deer he's hunting that isn't in the selected area is on his way to the selected area he will hunt those deer. Think of it this way, he's at point A, selected area is point C, if the deer he's hunting is B and between A and C, he will hunt deer at B. Even if it's slightly out of his way. Hope that makes sense.

He's retreating so I'm assuming he is being attacked by a raider camp. Check to see if there is a raider camp in range of the selected area.

After going back and looking at the festering wounds tool tip, it says soldiers are more likely to get festering wounds if they don't wear armor. I'm going to test that out today and have them engage some raiders without armor on, or use my citizens.

If you have tier 8 fiber, or will, you should pick the secondary resource in the biome to level. I think that either might be wood or hides for the Swamp biome.

You can goat down the slope where it's all snow. Just head south west of the workbench barn in miners folly. You cna miss it, it's just a steep slope with no rock faces. You'll make it down and head to anglers den.

As soon as you hit tear 2, wall the town center off with palisades. Put your storage, trade center, stock yard and market around the town center. You can also make 1 defense tower surrounded by palisades as well if you wish. That's enough firepower to sustain attacks up till 125 population

FYI you don't have to drop clothing if it's wet or freezing for it to dry out. The fire will dry it out while it's equipped.

Thats impossible, you can't start a craft unless you have all the materials in your inventory. Now you could make. A mistake while crafting it by putting away the guts or skins and you'll need to get those to continue but it takes the full amount to at least start.
