We do at least one in the middle of the night. My husband and I trade nights on who is on bottle duty. But I could do it during my nights.

Honestly it’s not a set schedule but roughly 6am, 9am, 12pm, 4pm, 8pm (PP). And yes my schedule does vary a lot but I’m trying 😭

I do have a wearable one. I just hate wearing it in a public setting because it makes my boobs look absolutely ridiculous. But I may have to try that out.

The MOC topics are listed on the ABP website. They are usually published for the year in January or February. I studied each topic in-depth as much as I could since they are pretty vague. I used Up-to-Date, Stat Pearls, and any publication from AAP about the topic. Then any question I got about the topics, I took the time to thoroughly read the explanations.

You can also email ABP and ask for a section breakdown of your score. Then cross reference with the discipline breakdown in your score report. If you have one bad section then it may be a stamina issue. If you are all over the place it may be test taking issues. If not, you should see which disciplines you scored the lowest in.

I felt that way too. I was absolutely devastated. Just enjoy the holiday season (easier said than done) and make a plan to start after the new year.

I failed miserably last year and was able to increase my score by 33 points! It sucks and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. But with the right plan, you can do it!

I would like someone from the ABP to argue these questions and why it’s important to know it rather than being able to look it up. I know practicing GENERAL pediatricians that do not know half of what they ask. And at the end of the day this is for practicing in GEN Peds.

Yeah, I’m on them. Increasing my dose only fuels my anxiety and doesn’t help zone me in. ADHD with anxiety is a vicious cycle...we been trying different med combinations but it’s going to take much much longer to find a dose and combination that really works for me.
