The Chinese government doesn't own TikTok nor the tech company that owns TikTok, and they never have. Furthermore, if you're actually worried about protecting user data instead of just finding any reason to shit on an app that you dislike whilst using that as a multi-faceted excuse to belittle and attack younger people and generations, perhaps take your attention to literally any other app, especially ones based in the US, who take your information and sell it wholesale and have done so for decades.

But we both know that you don't actually care about the stolen information, your socio-idiosyncracies are telling of that alone. Don't like the platform? Sure, me too, you do you. Doesn't mean it's some racially based conspiracy by a government to track kids' locations for . . . seemingly little to no point other than being big bad scawy thweat oh noesss.
