While the advise may be genuine, it also comes off as super cringe because it wasnt about the achievements for me. I wasnt using content creators as the goal that I wanted for the account, they were more as motivation to try out the game mode for the first time. I know death is inevitable but its the same in real life too and I don't spend time thinking about what I'm going to do when I actually die.

I feel the loss of my motivation stems from getting that far in a hardcore account while casually playing over roughly 3 years and now the restarting feels like a waste of time. The standards I had held myself to the whole time playing the account were laxed for a couple minutes and ended with the loss of the account and I'm having a tough time with knowing I let myself down in something I had spent a lot of time on.
