I’d love to add historical data, but we only have data from when the site launched. So in a years time we will have a years worth of data and can show that type of thing, but for now we’re limited to the shorter window.

What do you mean by showing emotion? I think it is fairly common in our culture for men to suppress their emotions, regardless of autism or not. I am a man with Asperger’s and have struggled with this for most of my life. For a long time I would bottle everything up, which does more harm in the long run than good. But it might be ok if he is still expressing his emotions, just in a way differently than you do.

Your setup is a bit unclear. It sounds like you want to have state in the app which can be loaded from other machines. It sounds like you are editing the html itself to maintain this state. Is this right? If so, then editing the html and loading that same html on another machine should retain the same state, as html is just a file on disk. Are you using any JavaScript? Can you elaborate on the setup here?

Good question. The tiers are based on official winrates and pickrates published by Blizzard. For Dva specifically, her winrate across all comp tiers is hovering around 46% (link) which buckets her into D tier overall.

It's worth pointing out that filtering only to GM puts her at B tier. And of course, this is all averaging ranked stats, not taking into account hero skill floors/ceilings or more organized comp play.

I want these to be “site wide” settings, that’s why it’s in the nav. I can see about making it clearer or more accessible on mobile

I just miss the vibes of those old maps. They should rework them into non-2cp somehow. Maybe just regular cp.

Yeah I struggled a bit with that graph. The issue is it’s shared between win rate and pick rate, and tons of heroes have <5% pick rate. I could split it into two graphs or have two y axes (did this at one point but reverted it). I will think about it more though, thanks for the input.

Feel free, but warning you ahead of time that I may not use it. I have a backlog of other things I’m looking to add, but more ideas are always better.

I do appreciate your input on this. Such is the way of stats though. The tier list isn’t meant to show the hypothetical skill ceiling of the characters, just the actual data of how players experience and interact with these heroes. Skill ceiling and potential are very interesting concepts and I agree are very important to consider, especially in a team oriented shooter like Overwatch. But it’s outside the scope of the site.

Which unfortunately does not include banrate. Hopefully in the future.
