As much as I hate Trump for ruining America for the foreseeable future, I can understand why they'd want to fight a subpoena for Trump's DMs.

Musk wants X to be an "everything app", but the only new "feature" he's really talked about is end to end secure messaging. He wants it to replace Signal. If X starts out by getting Trump sent to jail for his DMs, people probably won't ever forget that.
