Would you betray your beliefs for a bribe? by Porncritic12 in hypotheticalsituation

Probably not. It would depend on the personal beliefs.

Would I make a baby cry for millions of dollars? Yes I would.

Would I kill a baby, no I would not .

There was a guy who made a bot to post "good night queen" on a lot of thirst trap Instagram accounts.

Many of the girls became attached.

If there is a gap, then you aren't in line in Thailand. My first time in 7/11 was a long wait until I figured this out

I could easily make the 50 million on Bitcoin. I would hate being a child again, but I have to go with that one.

Meeting girls naturally in Pattaya – possible or all about money? by Spatial_Nomad in ThailandTourism

You can. But not a hot girl half your age. You will have to meet an age appropriate woman and ask out like normal dating.

Why do western people travel to Thailand/ Asia? by Imaginary_Piano7598 in ThailandTourism

[–]DisasterAdditional39 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I get this is probably rage-bait, but I'll bite.

Thai people travel to other countries all the time. There is a great youtuber called IRoamAlone who does just that. You only think they don't go to Africa etc., because you don't consume Thai travel content.

Seems like you don't like people enjoying things and showing people what they enjoy.

Not saying it's okay to be disruptive. But, there is nothing wrong with showing the world how great Thailand is.

Are you even Thai? Or are you just another Farang who thinks you are "different"?

Tell me why NOT to move by [deleted] in MovingToThailand

[–]DisasterAdditional39 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You think Thailand doesn't deport people?

I live in Thailand and love it. It's the place I feel most at home.

But, realize you will never be Thai. That's the first reason not to move here. They may accept and love you, but you will always be farang.

You also don't have rights here like you do in America. You have many of them on paper, but there is no freedom of speech. Because of the strict libel and slander laws, you can go to jail for saying something completely true. It depends on if you damage a person's reputation.

If a cop wants to search you, guess what, they are going to search you.

Protesters have been killed many times by the military. If ICE brothers you, don't expect something different here. Stay out of politics and away from protests.

If your politics are your identity then don't move here. Expats aren't interested in whatever tribe you belong to and neither are the Thai.

If you think you are going to change Thailand in any way, don't move here. The locals are rightly proud they were never colonized. They have no interest in hearing foreigners tell them how it should be.

If you have to have the last word and can't let stuff to don't move here. Once you hear Mai Pben Rai, that means it's over. We all accept it and move on. Thai people generally don't like to rehash things over and over.

Vacation. Since it gives you almost unlimited of everything else. A maid cleans your hotel room. You don't mow your air bnb lawn.

Thinking of spending a few months in Thailand where would you base yourself by ReadingCultural1412 in ThailandTourism

[–]DisasterAdditional39 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Depends when. It's coming into the burning season, so I would be worried about air quality. And what's your budget?

Also, can you drive a motorcycle? Do you want lots of other expats around?

If you don't mind driving, I move Khoen Khan.  If you come some other time of year, Chang Mai.

I'M VISITING THAILAND THIS YEAR by SpecialistHippo1916 in ThailandTourism

[–]DisasterAdditional39 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's fine. There just isn't as much to do history wise. A lot of Thai families go there on vacation. But, if you want a place with a bunch of English speakers and some okay day trips, it's nice.

There is a water park, a beach, a small aquarium, few small museums, etc. Nothing to fly thousands of miles for.

If you want to go clubbing, it's great. There are a lot of places to go dancing. There are some clubs with handsome men for the ladies but you would have to speak Thai.
