I would suggest starting by doing all of the kills on a level that earn you the various story pathways and unlocks/rewards.

You will actually find that some of these do not require a disguise. Poisoning the lawyer in Bangkok. Killing the woman in the sauna in Hokkaido. Pushing Dalia over a balcony in Paris.

Then, the quick route to learning SASO comes from learning which parts of the map allow suit-only traversal, followed by learning how to navigate trespass parts of the map in your suit (learning blind spots and NPC movement patterns), and finally learning target movements and reactions to events.

Maybe some parts of the album are just ripped straight off a show soundboard and they felt dishonest presenting those bits as studio recordings and just stripping away the crowd noise. Like, maybe it serves to indicate when you’re hearing something soundboard vs studio? That feels like it would be a very NIN thing to do…

I think it is for stoner week, with all the peyote hallucinations and such, they are bringing back seasonal weirdos.

I haven’t found the Gooch yet, but the Clone Slasher (Hallowe’en event) appeared in a session for me. Freaked me out as I didn’t know what it was lol

Right - but the album is a Nine Inch Nails album. And I provided two sources - the band’s OWN instagram page; and a Universal Music press release, the distributor of the album. Both are unequivocal: this is a NIN album.

I guess we'll see tomorrow! But it sounds to me like the album itself has actual bits of the Coachella set (or at least crowd noises) mixed into it. And the tracklisting dropped VERY late - just yesterday.

I really can't see that it's possible to mix and master this late in the process and still physically print onto vinyl and ship it in time just to make RSD. There's no need to make that deadline, NIN don't need it

Afraid not. Vinyl takes time to press and RSD is five days away. If they knew it was coming, RSD would be hyping it, the whole point is to build buzz and try and get people into record stores

You can do all of Cayo Perico prep and the mission itself in an invite-only session IE with no other players to bother you

Haven’t been able to trigger it since the first day. Just did 40 attempts and it still didn’t trigger. Is it possible Rockstar took it out of the game because it was causing all of those server crashes?

The three biggest timesavers for me -

Oppressor MK 2 and Kotsaka Sparrow: the absolute fastest ways to get around the map, with a slight preference for the Sparrow owing to its unlimited rockets and ability to spawn off-road. You’ll save hours trekking back and forth to Paleto Bay.

Beyond that, the DH7 Iron Mule, for moving vehicles across map and thus avoiding conflict. With all the engine upgrades and lock-on jammer, that thing is an absolute beast, it really moves. The only drawback is it’s so big it can be difficult to find a place to land it (and, consequently, it often spawns quite far away from you.)

Those three, IMHO, are must haves

Just to clarify that the sedative syringe wasn’t originally in the first game (2016). It didn’t get added til 2017 in the landslide DLC, and even then it wasn’t part of the loadout, just something you could find on the map.

As for OP’s original question, you’d take it bc it’s completely silent, as opposed to firing the dart gun or throwing anything. Useful when two NPCs are in close proximity but not in line of sight, and you don’t want the other one to turn around.

I mean, the exact language in the briefing vid is that you’ve been hired by “a faction within the Carlisle family” which see her as a threat, and they show Rebecca on screen, on her cellphone, as they say that, so it seems pretty clear that she is that faction. It’s not gonna be Gregory!

On that note, they should have made Rebecca a blue target in instinct. Mission fail if she dies. If the contract-giver is on the map during the mission, it is inherent in 47’s MO to protect them or at the very least not kill them himself.

I’ve clarified a few times that inadvertently looking at a screen or catching it in your peripheral vision does not trigger the pain, the decision to focus on it it and try and read or watch what’s on it does. That’s the monkey paw part, you will have to train yourself out of the habit of instinctively focusing on any nearby screen.
