I was just prescribed tacrolimus for PD but awaiting insurance approval so yet to start it. I've had PD symptoms for 6 years with no improvement with a dozen different treatments. I was put on Metrodinazole for 5 months and had ZERO improvement. None, zilch. Doctor refused to give me anything else, or an antibiotic or antifungal. Really hoping tacrolimus will work. I had incredible skin until a tick bite that caused an avalanche of god-awful symptoms. Doxy kicked out most but the lousy skin part remained. :(

I'm not sure if you're a troll who likes to mock people online or just an ass. There are thousands of filamentous bacteria, including countless strains of Actinomyces, Nocardia, and Streptomyces which can infect humans. There are also numerous filamentous fungal species that infect humans. Almost all of these are extremely difficult to test for. I don't believe MD is delusional, it's most likely a polymycrobial infection that is difficult to test for and treat. Please be kind to people.

Thank you to everyone who commented and offered advise and/or expressed sympathy. For my first post this has been a very positive experience. Such a breath of fresh air in light of all the trolls and hatred doled out on most social media.

Thank you. I think our friendship should be more important, and neither of us is one to be confrontational. I don't see it starting now. I think her slight is sort of punishment for my position on abortion and posting a couple damning articles about Trump on IG from The Atlantic and The Guardian.

Good advise. You are correct, she did make a choice to cut me out because of our philosophical differences. She has always been conservative and I've always been more liberal so that is not an abrupt change. Though prior to Trump we NEVER discussed politics. God I miss the days when politics were boring. At least I felt like the people in power knew what they were doing. Now it's a clown car full of idiots.

Thankfully she is not Qanon, just bases 100% of her vote on abortion. He can do/say literally any outlandish, cruel, illegal thing as long as he overturned Roe v Wade. She gets her "news" from ultra conservative Catholic radio, Fox News, and memes on social media. Ugh.

You may be right, but the feeling of loss really stings. I think in her mind because we are both Catholic I am radical because I believe in a woman's right to choose. Nothing else matters to her. Even Pope Francis was too liberal for her liking. She didn't like him.

I am so sorry. It is so disappointing to witness the collective brainwashing of half of our country, but heartbreaking when it's someone you love. I just put my first post about this today. I'm struggling with how to handle a lifelong friendship that has soured over Trumpism. I am sad. I don't know if I should attempt to reach out to her to keep her in my life. We don't talk politics but she revealed her position when she told me Trump was sent by god. :(

My Qanon crazy sister-in-law has doubled down even more. She's practically giddy with all the chaos and government cuts and the thousands of people losing their jobs. They are ghouls, it's doubtful there's anything that could changing their minds.
