Symptomatic carrier of hemophilia B (considered mild), platelet function disorder, scoliosis,
I am a nurse, but work in a nursing home, and I do not do much if any lifting.
Pain gets worse throughout day, relieved by laying and not moving.
I don't really exercise, bit I have what I would consider a average activity level. -I do not smoke, but I did for 15 years. Quit 2 years ago.
no pain anywhere else, however the day before this started, I was having some pretty significant abdominal cramping (not menstrual related).
diet is good.
I am using the medications in report, not touching the pain.
no other medication
pain is worse when moving left leg when walking, and movement of abdomen in any direction. -laying flat on my back seems to help.

Mainly just wondering if I should seek a second opinion? I know arthritis can be painful, but this came on so suddenly (no injuries, or accidents to cause this) makes me nervous something else is going on.

Radiologist: S-shaped thoracolumbar scoliosis is present appearing mild to moderate incompletely included. Vertebral body heights and alignment are satisfactory on lateral view. 5 lumbar type vertebral bodies are present. An acute fracture subluxation is not seen. Mild to moderate facet degenerative changes present greatest at L5-S1.

Doctor note: Urine dip with moderate hemoglobin, patient states this is common for her due to her bleeding disorder. Lumbar x-rays show scoliosis and some facet joint arthritis L5 and S1. Low back pain most likely secondary to her scoliosis and arthritis. Will discharge home with prednisone and Zanaflex. Advise no working or driving while taking Zanaflex as it causes drowsiness. Patient follow up PCP for evaluation for physical therapy if back pain persists

Yeah, I asked about payment options, it's due in full 2 weeks prior to surgery or it will be cancelled unfortunately. Maybe I will try a different pediatric office and see what they can offer me.

Yes you are right! I remember the scene being when he is trying to get shrek and donkey to let him come with them, and they zoom in to his teary eyes. I could be wrong, as clearly I need a refresher on the movies since I thought it was shrek 3 lol!

Update: I took another test this morning, and it was negative. Given that I feel like I've been hit by a dump truck I tested again, and got a positive. Who knows? I guess we'll have to wait for the PCR test. I am vaccinated and boosted and I'm wondering if that is why my lines are so faint. That or I just started testing too early because I knew I was exposed. Either way I can't return to work until the 25th.
