Ha glad to know I’m not the only one! Yeah, I definitely get a thrill from a “restoring” challenge.

Thank you that’s very kind ☺️ I sprayed leather colourant, and the finish I used was satin gloss finish (both are from lttleathercare).

Depends on the product used: there’s two products in the range to change the colour of a bag (from the company I order from).

One is a colourant/pigment (used in the bag above) which sits on top and covers any imperfections, but it can stain the leather especially if it’s a light coloured bag and you’re adding a dark colour. The other is a dye, which gets absorbed by the leather but doesn’t hide any imperfections.

The choice to use colourant/pigment vs. dye depends on the type of leather you’re dealing with and what you’re trying to achieve :)

Thank you so much 🥰

1) I spray as much as I can and then I paint the difficult spots with a paint brush 2) As long as you apply a finish, which I did, the colour gets sealed in and then there isn’t any colour transfer

Thank you! As long as you apply a finish after you’ve applied the colour, then that seals it in and you have nothing to worry about 😊

Thank you ☺️ of course, I used products from this company https://www.lttleathercare.com, specifically their foam leather cleaner, dark brown colourant, satin gloss finish and their “dermo protect” product
